Your point of view

Lauren is calling oh really? What a great timing. I Just ignore it until it went silent again, grace look at me confusedly. "Whose that y/n?" She asked.

"No one important" I simply said

"Was it Lauren?" She once asked but I just stayed and silent

"She's probably worried y/n maybe you should at least let her know that you're safe" grace said and it got me thinking that maybe she's right, I'm probably overacting too much about what happened. "Okay I will tell her I'm fine" I decide to just text her I don't want to be the one to call her it's just not right I guess.

"That's more like it oh hold on by the way I have to wait for my parents in the lobby" Grace stated.

"I will go with you" I said but she shook her head "no it's fine stay here I'll be quick the doctor might look for you so just stay here" She insist that she'll go alone so I just stay and wait for her.
Meanwhile I dial Lauren's number just to let her know that I'm fine. It's ringing and I'm actually getting nervous, I don't know what to say to her.

"Hello?" Without realizing I didn't know that she already answer her phone, "hello?? Y/n are you there?" "Why'd you just pick up now?" "Where are you?" "Hello?" Geez so many questions I thought to myself. "I'm fine" was all I could manage to say to her.

"Tell me where you are" she said through the phone making me wonder should I let her go here or not "I said I'm fine don't worry tho" I once assured again but I heard her heavy sigh and groan on the other line as if she's getting annoyed on me.
"Seriously Lauren you don't need to know where I am and sorry for leaving work I will be there as soon as things are already fine"

"What do you mean fine? What's wrong tell me please I'm just so worried"

I could sense through her voice that she is really worried tho but why? She doesn't even care about my feelings for...Argh I should stop thinking about stuffs I should focus on my Mom for now she needs to be alright.

"Fine I'm at the hospital right now my mom she's not okay she will have her surgery tonight" I take a deep sigh while finally telling her about what happened, it's not that I don't want to tell her I just don't want to be pitied I mean I know people think I'm old enough to take care of my mother but seriously I still need her to my life and I don't know what will I do if she leave.

"Okay I'll be there in minute"

"No Lauren you don't have to seriously I can-..." I couldn't finish what will I say anymore because she interrupts me saying she will go and it's final and before I could say anything else she hang up already, such an annoying boss.

I put my phone back to my pocket and take a sit. Suddenly the doctor came approaching my way so I quickly stand up again.

"You're mother will now be deliver to the surgery room we will now proceed there and I'm assuring you that we will do everything to make her okay" the doctor said and gave me a reassuring smile, I smile back a little knowing that I can trust them to help my mother.

"Just wait outside the room and I'll inform you her condition after the surgery" I nod and he walk away.

Then right after the doctor go grace and her parents arrives.

Grace smile and wave at me

"Hey y/n how's it you already talked with the doctor?" She asked and I nod "yeah the operation is in the process" I said, "oh that's good oh by the way Y/n these are my parents, mom dad this is my friend y/n" grace introduce me to her parents and they both give me a warm smile and hug,

"It's nice to finally meet you dear I'm so sorry about what happened to your mother but don't worry okay because we're here to help you out" Mrs. Davids said. "I really thank you Mr. And Mrs. Davids you've been a real big help I don't know how to repay you for your kindness" I said trying to keep myself from crying in front of them "no worries mija so let's probably go to the blood donors section now" (A/N:whuttt lol is there such a thing or place as blood donors section? I'm not surree okay! Don't criticize meee 🤣 I'm a student with a very small brain dammmnnnn anyways back to the story)

Lauren's point of view

Keys keys keys keeyyyys "Taylorrr where's my fucking car keys!?".

"Whattt?? It's your car bitch don't ask me"

(A/N: me and mah sista be like 👆🏻 lol ok sorry sorry no interruptions)

I groaned and twist and turn and tossed everything just so my car keys would show up I mean seriously right now!? When I told Y/N that I'll be there in a minute, I hate when life is so cruel and doesn't show you what's missing when you needed it the most.

"Laureeeen" my brother Chris called "what now?" I asked annoyed.

"Here's your keys" he said and threw me my car keys.

"What the hell!? You have it this whole time?" I asked annoyed "yeah I mean you lend it to me remember?" I look at him confused and asked "when?".

"When you're busy talking to someone in the phone, I asked you if I could use your car cause I left my phone on my friends house and your like fine fine get it hello??? Lauren there? Are you an alien whom taken her body to invade Earth and fuck every single persons living in it?" He said laughing. Wow I must've been really zoned out.

I roll my eyes at him and made my way outside, he's still standing in the door so I pushed him to make my way out.

"Oii where ya goin can I come with you?" Chris asked

"No bitch stay here tell Mom and Dad I go to see someone important" I said and hurriedly go outside.

(Skip the drive sorrrryyyyy I hate drive time)

I parked my car as I arrive to the hospital and quickly went inside.

I know that shes already in the surgery room waiting for aunt Y/m/n so I made my way there.

As I am only inches away.

Just one turn to left and I'm already there, I feel getting nervous second by second I mean what should I tell her, like how would I start conversation or whatsoever.

I stopped for a second and took a deep breath.

As I step to my left I saw y/n there crying while grace is hugging her, holding her in her arms.

I felt this weird thing inside my chest, as if my heart's beating fast but in more painful way.
