10. Don't hakuna his matata

I can't believe Alec followed me here. How dare him. I never even introduced Mama Kay to Mark because I knew how she was about her privacy. She didn't like anyone to she her in her condition. I set Sean, Molly's grandson on floor handing him his bottle.

"Is that baby Mark's?" He yelled.

"Sean go find daddy. He is inside." I tried to explain the two year old as much as I could before yelling to Matt, who was Sean Father. "Matt take Sean for a second. I'll be back in 5 minutes."

"What do you think you are doing here?" I asked Alec who looked like he just saw a ghost. I tried to drag him away from house so Mama Kay doesn't hear him.

"Who is Matt?" He asked staring at the door I just closed.

"Sean's father. Now tell me why did you followed me?" I asked losing my patience.

"But... Is he... You had Mark's baby?" What? He thought Sean was mine? What the fuck? Wait a minute. He thinks I had a secret child with Mark?

"What? Maia you never told me you hand Mark's baby." A voice who I knew belonged to Mama Kay came from the porch. I could see Alec's bewilderment. God this was all a mess.

"Who is your friend Maia?"

"No one. He was just leaving."

"I want an explanation Maia right now. If that baby is Mark's then I know he doesn't know about it. I'll call him right now."

"Stop making threats at my god daughter young man. And Maia explain everything to this poor boy before he collapse with an aneurysm."

"I guess I should introduce you to my godmother. This is Mama Kay. Mama Kay this is Alec shade. Mark's best friend." She gave me a smirk before going back inside.

"You are in so much trouble Alec." I whispered in his ears as went went inside. I can't believe he thought Sean was mine.

Inside Mama Kay introduced Alec to her nurse Molly and Molly's son and daughter in law Matt and Layla and their son Sean. It was hilarious to see the look of relief on his face. After small talk and my finished cupcake I decided to rescue Alec.

"Mama Kay Alec and I need to talk. I am taking him to my room." I got up and started pulling him.

"But we just started having fun. Fine then. Take him" once we reached upstairs I heard Mama Kay yell from downstairs "don't hakuna his matata Maia" and after that there was a hoot of laughter from downstairs and weird look on Alec's face.

"Ok Maia you owe me a big explanation"

"I owe you nothing. You followed me. You  braged in uninvited. You made assumptions and accusations. You are a bigger jerk than I thought Alec."

"Look I am sorry. What did you expected me to think when I saw you carrying a child who is calling you Ma and looks so much like Mark"

"First of all Sean was calling me Maia but he can't get it right just yet. Second., Sean is two year old so if you try doing a little math it meant he was conceived almost three years ago. Before I meet Mark. And third do I look like a girl who could have a secret baby for 3 years?" When Alec didn't immediately answered my question I raised a hand to stop him. "You know what don't answer. I don't want to know."

"I'm sorry"

"No. Your not. Don't bother lying. Just tell me why were you following me"

"I um I thought" he stuttered like he was embarrassed or something. Then he held up his chin in arrogance and said. "I thought you went to hook up with someone. I just wanted to ruin that for you."
