Maia's point of view
I heard Alec turn on Television on MTV while I shrugged out of my dress. I mindlessly pulled his T-shirt while replaying that awakward moment in kitchen. I knew Alec was unreasonably attractive but I didn't think this kind of connection was possible between us. I mean he hates me! I pulled on the sweat pants but they fell down instantly. I pulled them again but same thing happened. Finally I gave up on it and hung them on the hook at the door and started washing my make up off.
Just in his T-shirt I walked out and saw Alec pulling the coffee table near the couch which had our McDonald's order on top of it.
"Do you want more . . .?" Alec turned to look at me and froze.
"The sweatpants you gave kept falling off. Plus this t shirt is longer than the dress I had on before." I walked over to couch and carefully folded legs under me.
"What are we watching?"
"Nothing goods on. You can change the Channel if you want."
I lifted the plate on my lap was I surfed through the channels. I finally settled on Phines and ferb. I love this show. It's a classic.
"I never seen it." Alec said sipping from his coke.
"Seriously. It's super awsome. We are definitely watching this."
---------
"This show is completely impractical."
"It's a cartoon. What did you expect? But don't you think it's hilarious?"
"I never said it isn't funny. I just want to know how they fail to notice that there platypus is a spy agent."
"He is more like undercover agent than spy. You have no imagination." I laughed and threw a fry at him.
"Hey don't look at me like that." He grumbled.
I rose to my knees and leaned over him grabbing his collar. "I'll look at you when ever I want to look at you pal." I tried to look threatening but ended up smiling which made both of us laugh.
When our laughter died down I realized I was basically on his lap wearing just a t shirt and underwear. We tried to catch our breath looking at each other. I saw Alec look at my lips. I really wanted to kiss him right now.
Suddenly I pushed off of him and started to clear out plates quickly without looking at him. I can't believe I wanted to kiss Alec. I tried to remember everything he did wrong. He took Natasha's side. He keeps insulting me. He is Mark's Alec.
"You'll be fine on the couch?" Alec asked.
"I've slept at way worse places." I laughed taking a spare blanket from him.
"Don't doubt it." Alec mumbled.
"What's that supposed to mean?" I snapped.
"Nothing. Just nothing." Alec sighed.
"I thought we were at least friends by now. After today. Or was it that you were so bored you decided to entertain yourself with me."
"No. You looked so pathetic standing alone I decided to take pity on you but that doesn't change the fact that you are you and I am me."
"And we can never be friends. Got it. So you kissing Natasha was just to make a point."
"It wasn't about you. Not everything is about you." He snapped storming into the bathroom.
Well I certainly don't feel like kissing him now.
By the time he reappeared he in just sweatpants. The one I left hanging behind the door. They rested low on his hips and damn it he had six packs. He whipped his face from the towel before throwing it on the coffee table. Damn it why did he had to be so hot.
"Good night"
"Good night" I replied know it was going to be a long night and not for good reasons.
After an hour of trying to sleep I finally gave up and went to fridge to get some water. His couch was old and there were springs poking in my back. I rolled my shoulders and neck looking out of kitchens window. Thankfully I was too tired to have any major conflicting thoughts. I needed to sleep but I needed to be comfortable to do so.
"What's wrong?" A voice broke my thoughts and startled me making me drip the glass from my hand.
"Are you trying to give me a heart attack?" I whispered.
"Why are you whispering? It's just us here. Why aren't you sleeping?"
"My shoulders and neck are too stiff and the couch isn't exactly working in my favour."
"Neck and shoulder?"
"I sometimes get cervical pain. It's fine. I'll be fine in a while."
"Come on. You can sleep on bed. I'll take the couch." Alec offered.
"No. Couch is too small for you. Trust me I'll be fine. Sleeping on good bed doesn't help. I've been having these for a couple of years now."
"Alright what will help because I can't go to sleep with you hovering around."
"Umm sometimes Jace massages my shoulders. It helps the muscles relax. But I'll be fine. I have been dealing with them alone for a while now."
"Look I am to tired to argue how about we go to bed and I'll massage your shoulders till you sleep."
I shrugged and walked towards the bed. Alec sat behind me placing his leg on my both sides.
'Try to relax.'' I heard his soft and hoarse at the same time voice and felt his breath on my neck as he moved my hair to one side gently. I tried to listen to his advice but the moment his fingers touched me I felt something like a current go through me. I couldn't try to think about something else because he was here. He was behind me and he was touching me and he was the only thing I had in mind at the moment.
The way his fingers moved against my shoulders and the pressure he put there, the way his thumbs moved up and down I tried to stiffle a moan. Finally I was able to realx and his hand felt like good sent doing miracle to my stiff neck and shoulder. I felt my body get heavy and limp. I felt drowsy and sleepy and leaned against him and fall asleep at last.
