Chapter 6- You can't....

Also when I say shorties I mean : Craig,Lui, Brock, and Ryan
And when I say giants I mean: Tyler, David, Brian, and Luke
I don't like typing all their names so those are my abbreviations for them

Jonathan was already gone....

"Wow. He really did that. Evan seriously now can we beat him?" Brian had said after a few minutes of silence. Everyone was in shock, how could someone just leave when another is fighting for them and confessing their love. Evan wanted to break down and cry but he wasn't gonna. He promised he would fight and fight he will. Tyler them wanted to beat Jon more than ever now, but not without Evans consent.

"No, you are not gonna beat him. There's got to be a reason he's hiding, running away, and I'm gonna find out why." Evan replied. The rest of the group groaned, they seriously just wanted to snap that pricks neck but they can't now. Just as they were gonna walk away and Evan was gonna look for Jon, Craig them had showed up.

"Woahhhh why do you all looked pissed and Evan looks heartbroken?!" Craig asked. "It's a long story. Let's just go and leave Evan alone, I thing he needs it." Tyler explained to Craig and the others. Craig, Lui, Ryan, and Brock gave confused looks but otherwise complied and left with the others and Evan alone.

Tyler had explained the entire story to them just in time for the bell to ring. The shorties were all shocked. They understood where Evan was coming from but why would he still want him after he literally walked away? They weren't gonna go against it though. Evan deserves someone better after Sydney and if he thinks that Jon then so be it.

The giants were all thinking the opposite. Evan deserves way better than Jonathan and Sydney. They were gonna get in the way even if it was a subtle way. Jonathan and Evan were not gonna happen, not even over their dead bodies.

Evan walked away to go find Jonathan after his friends left. He didn't care about class at his point. He wanted to find Jonathan just in case anything would happen. By the time Evan was done checking the entire school, Jonathan was gone by the lake and school was over. That didn't stop Evan though. There was only one spot to check and that was the lake. So, he drove to the lake, after saying goodbye to his friends.

Both the shorties and the giants followed Evan. They know that it's an invasion of privacy and all that shit but they wanted to know what happened. So when Evan drive into the woods towards a lake, they were so confused but otherwise still followed on foot so Evan could hear or spot the car. When both Evan and his friends reached the lake they saw Jonathan in the water with no shirt on.

Let's just say, Jonathan was ripped. Tyler them were shocked but moved closer to hear what Evan was gonna say when he was walking close to Jonathan.

Yes, Jonathan left but he couldn't stand to see Evan fight for him when he doesn't know the truth. As he was swimming, he saw Evan walking up to him. He swore under his breath but otherwise turned to Evan when he was called.

"Jonathan..." Evan said. "What are you doing here Evan? Me walking away wasn't a good enough hint?" Jonathan replied in a cold voice. With his heightened senses, he noticed Tyler them behind trees and bushes. "I know. But Jonathan please let's talk it out. I'm sorry for walking away before but I want to stay. I want you in my life, please. I still love you." Evan explained. "You can't... Evan you can't love me. You have no idea what you would be in for, and I don't want you involved." Jonathan replied.

Tyler them were listening beyond the trees when they heard this. They all looked at each other shocked and with their eyes spoke, "what does he mean?" But otherwise continued listening. "But I want to be involved Jonathan. I want you in my life. I want to hold you. Lo-" Evan was cut off by Jonathan. "No. Stop right there Evan. You do not want to be involved with me and... GET THE HELL OUT OF BEHIND THE TREES TYLER AND EVERYONE ELSE!!" Jonathan yelled.

They froze. All of them. Evan turned when he heard movements behind the trees. Out came all of his friends looking shocked and scared. "Now that you are all here and not hiding, stay the hell out of my life. You want a fight, we will fight right now and settle it. You want me to stay away from Evan I will. Yeah I love him but I love him to the point where I know what he will be involved in is not good for him. It's not good for any of you, so you want to say or do something do it now because after this, our lives will be separate." Jonathan said calmly.

"Woah woah woah, stop right fucking there. You just called us out when we were 100% quiet and not moving. How the hell did you do that considering we were a like 10 feet away!?" Tyler exclaimed. Everyone else agreed but Evan was too busy trying to process everything. "That's none of your business. Neither is any of this between me and Evan but guess what? You're still snooping around like you control him. Like you have to know what's going on in HIS life and HIS mind. All of you, I understand you are friends but let him do what he wants and what he has to." Jonathan shot back. Tyler and everyone else jaw dropped. Evan looked down sheepishly because it was true, he loved his friends but they were so snoopy. Every else looked to Evan and that's what it hit them. His friends were overprotective and snoopy.

"We're sorry Ev. Why didn't you tell us we were getting too snoopy?" Brock asked softly. "Because I love you guys and didn't want you guys to think badly." Evan replied back in a hushed tone. "You know you can be honest with us. We are all best friends we understand" Lui said, everyone agreeing. "Thanks guys but Jonathan..." Evan said. Everyone looked back at Jonathan who was now out of the water and his ripped body glistening from the sun reflecting off the water. They all stared in awe but Evan continued, "Thank you for saying that, but please... I don't want you out of my life. I don't want you gone. You're the missing piece I need. Please...." Jonathan couldn't. He knew he couldn't but Evan was giving him those big foggy eyes that always would ruin him before. He looked away. "I'm sorry Evy. You'll be afraid of me, we'll be on the run if you're involved. I'm risking everything right now just to talk." Jonathan explained still looking alway.

"NO JONATHAN NO ! You can't say that. I WILL HAPPILY BE ON THE RUN WITH YOU! I WONT BE AFRAID OF YOU BECAUSE NO MATTER WHAT YOU ARE YOU. I LOVE YOU. I know who yo-" Evan was cut off. "No you don't know who I am. That Jonathan you last saw before he went off the grid IS DEAD. He died when they took him. You have this monster who can rip your heart out, this monster who can't love because everyone he loved was ripped from him, you know nothing of me, not anymore!" Jonathan exclaimed. "THEN TELL ME. I spent years trying to get over you. I spent years being depressed because you left. I LOVE YOU FOR GODS SAKE. I spent years waiting and I'm not letting you go no matter what!" Evan shot back.

"You know what. Fuck you Evan Fong. Do you not fucking understand that your life and everyone in it is in danger if you are involved with me. You have zero fucking clues on what I've been through, what I'm goin-" this time, Jonathan was cut off by Tyler. "THAN FUCKING TELL HIM YOU DUMB PRICK! Tell him and let him make the decision!"

Everyone shut up after that. Jonathan didn't know what to do. They were so stubborn and he wanted them in his life, but he can't risk it. "Evan, leave now. Please. I love you ok. I do. I always have, I never stopped, you kept me going, you are the last bit of love I have left. I need you to stay away until I know for sure, that I am in the safe zone. I can't risk losing you, I lose you, I lose myself and the last person I love. Just let me go for now. I promise to come back but you need to avoid me at all cost."

"But you don't understand. I can't leave you. Not even if it's just for a month. Jonathan, if you love me, you'll let me fight with you. I'll stand by you no matter what and whatever you are against I will be there. I love you Jonathan Denis." Evan said softly, walking up to him.

"And I love you Evan Fong" Jonathan replied back, kissing Evan as soon as he got close.

But once they let go, "im sorry my love" Jonathan whispered before everything went black for everyone....
