I was still terrified and scared beyond description. I wasn't even sure if I was shaking from fear or the cold of the night air, but I was more concerned for Hobi. His arm was locked tightly around my shoulder, his core temperature raising to warm me if only by a few degrees. Every three seconds it seemed, he would steal a quick glance before turning away and narrowing his eyes in concentration.

Eventually, I met his gaze as he shot a look towards me. He paused right then, "What's the matter? Do you need anything? Are you still cold?" I felt the artificial warmth radiating from him grow even warmer, and he pulled me into a full hug.

I have not the slightest clue why my heart began to pick up its pace at that moment, but I didn't like it. "I'm fine, J-Hope," I gently pushed him off, my cheeks heating up.

He turned to me and immediately saw the pink blanketing my face, "No, you are not. You're cheeks are red. You could get a cold if you do not allow me to assist you." He once again wrapped his arms around me and made my heart race even faster. I shoved him away, "I said I'm okay! Can I get some personal space please?! Jeez..."

"Well... If you insist," he replied, dissappointed. He stretched an arm out, "Let's continue forward."

I stomped in front of him with my cheeks still flaming and went home.

Once I reached the door, I prepared myself for my father's worried, angry shouting. I was waiting for his concern-filled voice to be able to wake the entire country of Seoul. I looked forward to his embrace as we both released our worry and enjoyed my safe arrival. But when I entered, he wasn't there.

Beer bottles were scattered across the floor as always, and the refridgerator was wide open. Everything seemed in place. I guess that's a good thing.

I wandered into the hallway, where I approached my father's closed door and prepared the second time for an emotional reunion.

I creaked the door open and peered inside, where he was... sleeping. His back was even facing the door. A small bit of dissappointment sparked somewhere, but I ignored it and quietly entered.

"Dad..." I called softly, the tears of joy slowly welling up in my eyes. I'd never been so happy to see him in my life, but I did not receive the same.

He rolled over in his bed and squinted at me, "What?"

"W-what do you mean? I'm home, dad," I clarified, still confused.

"...Welcome back? While you're here go and get the plastic to do the dishes."

A lump rose in my throat, "Were you not concerned at all?"

"No. Why would I be?"

"...You didn't even know I was gone?"

"Where? At least be specific and tell me. Look, I have a hangover and I'm in a lot of pain right now, so if you could leave that would be great," he turned away from me and resituated himself in the covers.

"Figures..." I spat, tears rolling down my face, "You were probably too drunk to even think straight. And you call my android a peice of plastic," I scoffed, "You're no better than him, you drunken asshole."

Before he could give his attention back to me, I left, making sure to slam the door loudly behind me.

I rested my weight against the wall, and squeezed my eyes shut, trying with all of my might to shut out the rest of the world. I took a breath. Two. After a moment, I was able to breathe past it and return to my room where J-Hope was waiting patiently with his hands folded over as usual. I gave him a frail grin.
