"Come out, come out where ever you are..." Victor calls while trying to locate one Jim Gordan.
The old man was pissed when he found out that Penguin had infact been alive and well. Then again Victor had his suspitions about Jim but never voiced them.
While the boss never really told him much about why he wanted people delivered alive, he specifically stated that Gordan remained alive. All be it he never said 'un harmed' as Victor noted while reminding Jim that he would still be alive, even with no hands.
The detective refused to come quietly leaving Victor and his ladies no choice but to open fire.
He had landed a shot into what looked like Gordans gut, pleased with himself he chased down the blood trail out to the parking lot by the precinct.
A female officer aimed her gun at him, a fatal mistake on her behalf. He landed a shot that he knew wouldn't kill her yet, hoping to entice the 'Hero detective' out to play.
Yet as he was well aware there are no heros in Gotham.
The loud screech of tires pulled Victor out of his search.
"Get in!" Came a womans voice as the door of the car swung open, a crouched Gordan climbing into the back.
Victor and his girls shot at the car, narrowly missing stopping them in thier tracks.
He rolled his eyes and turned around walking back towards the whining female cop on the floor.
A smile crept up his face as he shot her in the head. Taking out a blade not long after and etching the 28th mark into his arm.
He didn't get Gordan but another oportunity would arise, he knew one day he would get to shoot the man once again.
"Boss, he got out with the help of a woman. Everyone knows we're after him so someone will give us his location." He spoke mildly amused with how close he came to capturing the elusive detective.
"Come back to the mansion. I have a plan to discuss."
The three beeps of the phone made Victor rather happy, more jobs await.
He walks merrily for a few blocks before realising he had subconsiously made his way to Cara's apartment building.
Chosing to let her know he may be a little late he quickly runs inside. The door locked made him guess she was still out. He picked the lock and left a note on the coffee table explaining that should he not be there by 10pm, she should get some sleep and that he would see her the following day.
As he stepped outside a car pulled up, Falcone apeared as the window wound down.
"Sir I was just on my way." Victor smiled, he knew the boss liked him way too much to have an issue.
