AN: how about some peterick? And some family bonding?:3 I could go for some peterick! And bonding is totes adorbs xD

"I had so much fun last night!" I said as I plopped onto the bed next to Patrick, waking him up in the process.

"I did too," he chuckled, then yawned. "You're up early."

"I couldn't sleep. My heartburn is like really bad," I chuckled. "but whatever, it's just more time I get to spend with my amazing husband."

"And you're super lovey," Patrick chuckled as he sat up in the bed. "Mood swings?"

"Hell yeah!" I said. "They are just amazing today."

"Oh, Pete," he laughed, getting out of bed and wrapping his arms around me.

"I'm going to apologize now if I just get super pissy all of the sudden, ok?" I laughed.

"Ok," he laughed again. "I'm going to get my shirt on, then how about we make breakfast for everyone?"

"Sounds good to me," I smiled.

Patrick slipped his shirt on, as did I, then we went downstairs and into the kitchen. It was only seven thirty in the morning, so it didn't surprise me that no one was up yet. Not even Ethan, but that kid's sleeping schedule is insane, so you never really know when he's going to wake up. Anyway, Patrick and I started on breakfast, which we decided we'd make eggs, bacon, and toast. Patrick handled he eggs and bacon, while I handled the toast. My feet were already killing me, so at least I could sit down after I put the bread in the toaster, then sit down to butter it. See? It all works out. And Patrick understands, so that's really great.

Honestly - and I'm going to sound really lovey here - Patrick and I, I think our relationship is the strongest its ever been. We haven't fought - not even once - at all since I got pregnant. Not that we have been, but you know what I mean. Just everything around the house seems calm and at peace. Jaimee has been so incredibly helpful, Ethan hasn't been as rambunctious as he normally is, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, and Patrick has been more than helpful, caring, and loving. I really never thought I'd have a family like this ever, and now that I do, I really can't be happier. I don't know what to say. I really don't. Patrick is amazing, Jaimee is amazing, and Ethan is amazing. Even Nick is being incredibly helpful! If he hears us talking about how we need groceries or something, he and Jaimee are in the vehicle, on their way to get what we need. And when we give him money, he says no. He's a keeper, that I know. I hope Jaimee knows that too.

"Hey, random question," I said, buttering some toast.

"Yeah, babe?" Patrick asked, flipping the bacon over.

"Do you think Jaimee and Nick will ever get married someday?" I chuckled.

"I've thought about that," Patrick laughed as he turned to me. "Honesty, I kind of hope they do. That are so amazing together, and really, I don't think anyone could treat Jaimee as well as Nick does. I hope they both realize that what they have is so incredibly special. And they'd better cherish that."

"I couldn't agree more," I chuckled. "They kind of remind me of us when we were younger."

"Me too," I smiled. "Ah, young love."

"You really think that?" Jaimee's voice echoed through the kitchen.

"Yes, baby girl," Patrick smiled. "You and Nick, what you both have, that doesn't just happen."

"I love him more than anything," she chuckled.

"And I'm glad about that," I smiled.

"I honestly think he's the one," Jaimee said, blushing a little.
