I was enjoying being at my new school meeting new people, although I was glad it was Friday, not so glad I had I had English with mrs smith last I really couldn't stand her and I'm sure the feeling was mutual. As I arrived at school I realised Josh was right it would just be us four. Mel, josh and drake were all waiting for me at our usual meeting place in the morning. Mel was fuming and I don't know why until she practically screamed "those assholes have you heard?" "heard what?" I asked "they've only gone and paired up, they came over here telling us it was for the best us four aren't friends with them four! Graceys dating Nick and lexi is dating Ross i am so pissed off" she screamed. "yes and you handled it very well" Josh said sarcastically. "okay calm down Mel what did you say in return", I asked "I can't even, excuse me I need to calm down" she announced as she stomped off. "she called lexi a back biting little bitch" nick said with a slight laugh. Josh started to snigger too "guys come on this isn't funny" I said trying to hold back my giggles, failing miserably I started to laugh. "they were arguing for quite a while it was pretty special" Josh informed me. "I better go find her see how she is" I said. When I found Mel she was crying "aw Mel don't cry" i said giving her a hug. "no she was right I am just jealous, of her having a boyfriend" she said sobbing. "she said that?!!" I asked in shock "yeah and she has every right to, it's true isn't it, and seeing you with Harry has made me realise it, and it bothered me when she brought it up" she said still crying. "do you want me to say something, to her cos I would quite willingly kick her ass right now". I said "haha thanks but I dunno if that would make me feel better" she said just then lexi came waltzing around the corner with Ross she was all over him she saw Mel all upset and started to laugh and kiss him right in front of her "you bitch" I said, "she turned to me and said "what did you just say". By this time Josh and Drake were standing behind me, "you heard me" I replied, "well obviously I didn't so you can just say that again" she said in an attempt to threaten me, "we'll you can just kiss my ass" I said stepping closer to her. "are we going to have a problem" she said with a smug look on her face. I walked forward until she was left pressed up against the wall "no I think it's you who has a problem" I said. And with that I grabbed Mel and we walked off to class followed by Drake and Josh. "thanks for sticking up for me nobody's ever done that for me before" she said "no problem, anytime you need me I'll be here" with that we we were off to class.

It as the last period of the day and I was is no mood to put up with mrs smith. As soon as I sat down she gave me an icy glare and ignored me for most of the lesson. Then with twenty minutes left of the day she looked at me and said "hoodie off now" "technically it's a zippie not a hoodie" I said. "don't be smart with me okay young lady, you have been nothing but trouble since you started this class I have asked around and all the other members of staff seem to have no problem with you". She said "well the other members of staff dont bother about my hoodies" I replied "why cant you just take it off the rules clearly state no non school items of clothing on in class". "I just can't okay and it's a stupid rule" I said becoming very frustrated. "well you can take that up with the headmaster", "I just might, but in the meantime can you just drop it" I practically begged. She was starting to see there was a little more going on than me saying this to be stubborn, "what are you hiding" she asked sounding generally concerned, now she was talking quietly so only me and her could hear, nobody was looking anymore, so she grabbed my arm I winced in pain she was pushing one of my bruises. "don't touch me" I yelled. I grabbed my things and yet again ran out of class I needed to stop doing this, but she took me by surprise I hated being grabbed it scared me. As I continued to run to my surprise Harry was waiting outside the school gates. "what are you doing here" I asked out of breath. "I just needed to see you again, wait why are you running out?" he asked. "she grabbed me, she hurt my arm and it scared me" I said close to tears, but I was determined I was done crying. "who did?" he asked taking me in his arms. "one of my teachers I don't exactly get on with, she's has it out for me she really does", I said, by now I was calmed down. "I think I should apologise for my behaviour, but I can't right now everyone probably thinks I'm such a freak" I said. I heard the school doors burst open it was Mel and Josh, you can imagine the shock on Josh's face when he saw me hugging Harry but he tried not to show it. "rach are you okay" Mel asked as she pulled me from Harry's grasp and hugged me. "I'm fine she just took me by surprise that's all, I can't believe you ran out here to check on me" I said smiling, "hey you were there for me this afternoon with lex and now I'm here for you it goes both ways, I found josh in the hall, as soon as I mentioned what happened he came bolting out with me, hi Harry" she said "hey Mel and uh Josh is it" Harry replied "yeah, that's me" he said. He didn't seem that bothered about me and Harry anymore, but I still felt guilty for keeping it from him. I thanked him for coming out to see me as well "your a great friend" I told him "best friend" he replied grinning. I was so glad I had these people in my life they are amazing.
