Part 1

《Normani and Dinah》

"Hey you," the ebony softly greeted the Poly, going to hug her as she came downstairs to start dinner.

"Hey," Dinah replied with a smile, taking in the sweet aroma of Normani's French vanilla perfume as she hugged her. "How was the aquarium?"

"It was very eventful," Normani giggled, as Dinah turned her around to hug her from behind as they walked in the kitchen. "The kids had me and Lo walking all day. How was the zoo?"

"Pretty much the same as your trip," Dinah said with a small chuckle. "Kai and Lizzy kept me and Ally up and about all day. Especially after they had ice cream."

Both women giggled as Dinah got everything out to start dinner. 

"So what's on the menu tonight?" Normani asked as she watched Dinah move about the kitchen.

"Spicy, cheese filled rice cakes and kimchi stew," Dinah said proudly.

She looked back to the ebony, only to see her eyebrows furrowed together as her face was slightly scrunched up in confusion. Dinah couldn't help but laugh before stepping closer to her.

"Oh calm down. It's just a Korean dinner. Some of Lenny's races were in Busan and I was able to learn a few things while we stayed there."

Normani giggled as she playfully shook her head.

"Before you get started," she said, "think we could talk a little?"

It was Dinah's turn to furrow her eyebrows as she nodded her head. Soon as Normani hopped up on the island, Dinah made her way between her legs, both her hands on the edge of the island while giving the ebony all her attention.

Normani smiled at her, a smile that Dinah reciprocated as their hands connected.

"So," Normani began, "I told Lauren....you know...about us..."

Dinah's smile only grew, catching Normani a little off guard.

"Why are you smiling at me like that?"

Dinah only giggled, bringing some of Normani's hair behind her ear.

"Because I told Ally about us too," she said. "She told me how sweet it was to see that we were still so close this morning. She said you were my person."

Normani smiled at the familiar term.

"Lauren told me the same thing today," she said. "And it couldn't be more true."

Dinah's cheeks began to turn a small hint of red, something that Normani thought was the cutest thing about the Poly. The ebony snuck her legs around Dinah's waist, bringing her closer so she could hold her. Their noses touched as they closed their eyes, breathing deeply as they melted into one another's touch.

It's been years since the two could hold each other like this. They missed the way the other felt, the sound of their synched heart beats, the softness of one another's skin. In this moment, Normani wanted so badly to break the rules...to just throw caution to the wind and have Dinah all to herself just for a little while.
