(A/N: So... I'll have a little 'Party' tomorrow evening/night and It will go past my normal upload time. In addition to that, a friend stays here and I don't like turning on my computer when I have friends around. Anyways... what I am trying to say is: (probably) NO UPDATE TOMORROW! And since I have two stories to update, I will update the Modern story, the day after tomorrow. So there won't be a one-day gap for the next chapter, but a two day gap... If you are interested in my modern 'Big five' (call it what you want) story, you can read it on my profile! ^^ Thanks for reading and enjoy the chapter!)

Hiccup's POV

This cave will forever be a mystery to me. Maybe the dragon's aren't feeling that bad in the cave. Sure some miss their riders, but it's been five years. No wait, it's been five years in total... but over two years for the dragons. How long did it take them to realize, they were not alone in this cave? My mind was a mess, but I don't really know why. We came to the gate and to our luck, the guards heard us coming and opened it so we won't need to lower our speed. Going in took longer then flying out. It was dark already, so our eyes weren't blinded by the burning sun. I heard Merida's joyful screams, riding her own dragon for the first time. She' doing good... no, she's doing fantastic! But it has to be Zalavy. Why was she so easy to train? And why did she knew that Merida is going to ride her? Toothless directly flew to the cliff. “You are tired too, right?”, I said, petting his head and he purred. Merida and Zalavy where right behind us and we slowed down as we cam to the cliff. I got off Toothless and Zalavy stood right next to us. I helped Merida to get off the saddle, because her dragon was bigger than Toothless and her feet couldn't reach the ground, even when Zalavy's laying on the ground. She spread her wings and just now I noticed that she closed the split part between her wings the whole time. “Wow... She just... kinda... transformed!”, I stammered and I had the feeling that the dragon in front of me was laughing. “Well...”, Merida started and got interrupted by her own yawn. “You two are going to stay here, get it? We'll be back tomorrow morning. Right?”, she turned to me and it took me a second or two to realize the 'right' was meant for me. “Oh yeah. Sure.”, I answered, clearly tired. She patted my chest and headed to the path to our town. I saw Zalavy's and Toothless' eyes closing and they both drifted to sleep and I made my way to go home with my red haired love. She talked about how amazing the feeling was, the whole way home, but I was too tired to listen carefully and just caught a few keywords, hoping she won't ask questions. I was just too tired. As we finally made it home, I just threw myself into bed, already half asleep, and Merida frowned at me. “Ye will sleep in that clothes?”, she asked confused and I just yawned and growled something like: “I'm too tired to change.” I heard her giggle and I fell asleep before she finished and lay in our bed. I woke up early. The sun was just about to rise so I closed my eyes again for a few minutes. Today will start with the dragon training. Well, right after we visit my father. The light that shone through my eyelids got darker and I opened one eye to find Merida, stretching out her arms over her head, and blocking the sunlight to hit my face. My hand roamed over the mattress, to her side and she started to laugh and scream as I tickled her. “G-Good morning!”, she said between breaths and laughter, “Stop! Stop it! Haha! Come on! That's not fair, I just woke up!” Her laughter turned into a smile as I stopped and I smiled too, looking directly into her gorgeous eyes. She ran her fingers through her red curls and sighed annoyed. “I need to shower, god dammit.” She flung her legs over the bed frame and grabbed some clothes. I rose an eyebrow. “Are you going to wear that?”, I asked and it was like the biggest mistake you could ever make. Never, never ever say that to a girl. Merida gave me an angry expression and I saw a fire in her eyes. “Why?”, she asked, trying to sound calm. OK, one wrong word and I won't make it out alive. “Uhm... I-I just thought... you know... how will you ride a dragon with this kind of clothes?”, I stammered and her angry face smoothed. She put the dress down and got the dragon rider clothes and went outside, without saying another word. I was unsure if I should leave the room, but I had no other choice, so I got dressed and went into the kitchen to prepare our breakfast. We kinda hurried with our breakfast and Merida's hair wasn't completely dry when we visited my father, but no one minds it. My father greeted us with a smile as we opened the door. He was clearly happy that we made it out the cave, alive. But I promised that everything will be alright. “So, what dragon did you get her?”, my father requested to know and sat up on the bed. Well... how should I tell him, that I don't know what kind of dragon it is? This was so awkward and I found myself scratching my neck. “Actually...”, Merida interfered, “we don't know. But, she is unique, that's what I can tell.” My father frowned at us. “I see... well...”, he uttered and his eyes searched around the room as he stroked his beard. He was thinking. Well, I guess he was. For a few minutes, there was silence and my father started to look at us. “What are you still doing here? Go train you dragon's!”, he chuckled and Merida needed to chuckle too. “Are you sure? You don't need anything?”, I asked disbelieving and he just waved his hands. He told us that he's alright and that we should go. I'm glad that he's doing better now. And I'm happy that he will come with us. I closed the door behind us as we left and my smile broke. I could swear I heard him coughing. But not that usual cough that someone does when he caught a cold or something. Not that harmless. It was heavy. I wanted to open the door and look up on him, but something told me I just imagined it. Merida gave me a worried look. I asked her if she heard it too and knowing that she did no, gave me a feeling of relief. I just imagined it. We made our way to the cliff, after we bought some fish from Tuffnut's shop. Merida suddenly stopped walking as we stepped to the place, our dragons were hiding. “Wait a second... Hiccup? Where are our Dragons?”
