(A/N: Sorry I was busy and forgot to upload earlier Q_Q But I'm so happy because my new Wig arrived Yesterday!! I was so mad and depressed because it came a week (!!!) to late and the 'arrival date' was between the 22.05 - 06.06 and this was so long and I had to wait even longer grrrr anyways... enjoy the chapter!!)

Hiccup's POV

I woke up and looked out the window. It was pitch black outside. Why is it so dark? I thought it was morning already. Merida did some strange noises at the moment I sat up frowning. Oh dammit I woke her. “Good morning.”, she said, eyes still closed and her sleepy voice sounds as charming as every morning, besides this wasn't really morning. “Good morning, sorry I woke you up.”, I apologized and I kissed her as she sat up too, still wrapped in the blanket. She kissed me back and smiled. She's always smiling when we are kissing, that's kind of cute. “Nah, ye didn't I was going to wake up anyways.”, she replied while rubbing her eyes and turning her head towards the window. Her sleepy eyes opened after she yawned and then she tilted her head, looking confused. “Why is it so dark outside?”, she asked. I lay my arms around her, kissing her shoulder. She didn't broke her 'eye-contact' with the window. “I don't know, I was wondering the same.” It was silent for a while. How long did we sleep? It's dark outside but I'm wide awake. “Ye don't know the time, do ye?” I looked around the room. I made a clock once, or twice, or even more. Anyways, only one went good and it hung over my door. “Uhm... it's... wait what!?” She rose an eyebrow at me, at least I think she did, and asked whats wrong. “The clock probably just stopped working... or is it two o'clock?” I heard a giggle and turned to Merida. “Well, it was noon when we arrived here. We went to yer father, I don't know, a few hours after perhaps? Maybe we went to bed at evening when it wasn't really late.” Wouldn't the people celebrate until the sun comes up again? I mean, it's a big deal or not? I was gone for five years, they should party a little longer. I went up to the window to get a closer look. My eyes widen in surprise. Even though it was really dark, I could see that the center, where the party was held, was empty. Cleaned and empty. “I don't get it...” My bed creaked under Merida's movement as she flung her legs over the bed frame. “C'mon, let's get some more sleep. I don't know yer people but maybe they got tired after all. They didn't seemed happy before ye came back.”, she uttered careful. I turned around and sat on my bed besides her. “So were you.”, I said playful and looked at her confused face. “Excuse me?” Normally she would say 'What?' if she wouldn't understand what I say but when she thinks she got the wrong meaning she always says this. “You weren't happy before I came.”, I said with a little sass in my voice and I mentally slapped myself as a grin formed on her face and I knew she got it wrong, again. She started to giggle and soon the giggle turned into a laughter. It wasn't loud enough to wake anyone up, fortunately. “Oh come on. You always get me wrong.”, I said rolling my eyes with a little smirk on my face. She panted after her whole laughing and took some deep breath before she talked again. “Yeah, well maybe ye should think before ye talk.” She still was a little 'gigglish' after all and I just rolled her over to her side and put the covers over us, facing her beautiful blue eyes. “Ye aren't mad at me, are you?”, she asked a little disheartened. “Of course I'm not! How could I?” I smiled at her. I'm so happy to have someone like her. “I love you, Merida. You know that?” She giggled a bit before placing a kiss on my cheek. “Yes, I know. I love ye too.” Her eyes slowly closed and I fell asleep long after her. Why was I so awake back then?
