It's hard, you know? To keep pretending like you're fine and lying to everyone around you just because you don't want to see their expressions full of pity whenever they lay their eyes on you. Because you would rather drown in your sorrows than have someone throwing fake pity at you. Because deep down they don't actually care; they just pretend. They pretend to care as much as you pretend that you're fine. They fake their pity as much as you fake your smiles. And the truth is, no one is honest anymore; we're all just pretending.
