Katelyn
I woke up to Lizzie shaking me. "Alarms don't work for you then, huh?" She giggled. I blinked hard. "Whaaaat?" I groaned.
"It's your first day of school, idiot!" Lizzie laughed. My eyes instantly widened. Lizzie pulled me out of bed. Groggily, I got dressed into the uniform. I'd always seen quite boring, dark, plain uniforms, but this was quite good. It was a uniform especially for girls, made up of a burgundy blazer, white blouse, white and red tartan skirt and burgundy tights. Afterwards, I straightened my hair and let it hang by my shoulders.
Grabbing my bag and shoes, I jumped downstairs. Two slices of buttered toast were waiting for me in the kitchen, on the opposite side to an excited Meri. I gave Meri a stroke after eating my toast, trying to avoid getting her hairs on my uniform. "Hey!" He beamed.
"Are you ready?" Joel asked.
"As ready as I'll ever be,"
Lizzie came downstairs and offered to take me to school today, since it was my first day. I agreed, I didn't quite know where I was going after all. After a few minutes of just sitting around, we headed out to the car. "Good luck!" Joel said from the doorway. I smiled back at him. 'I'll need it' I thought, since this was my first day at school for years. Lizzie and I got into the car and headed to school. We reached the gates, and I let out a long sigh. We both got out of the car, and Lizzie took me through the car park to the reception so that she could fill out some contact forms. We reached reception and my head of year was waiting for me.
"Hello, Katelyn. I'm Mr Wren, your head of year. Welcome!" Mr Wren announced. Right now, he wore a kind smile on his face, but I reckon I would be quite scared of him at other times.
He took Lizzie and I into an office to fill out some paperwork and so that I could get prepared. Once Lizzie was done, he took me aside.
"We have someone in your lessons to show you around until you get to grips with the place, so that you're not alone. Is there anything you would like to know?"
"Well, um, do many people get bullied?"
"No, not at all. We do not tolerate bullying at all here, was that a concern for you?" He reassured.
"Well, yeah. I got bullied a lot before."
"You will be fine here. But, if there are any issues, come to me." Mr Wren said, smiling.
"Speaking of which, here is your helper." He beamed.
As he opened the door, the person stood there was the person I was least hoping to ever see again.
