Dark Pasts Pt 1

Luxis' POV

<5 years old>

Flames. They danced along the walls of the house I grew up in. Pained screams filled the air as I mercilessly manipulated the Innocence held in my hands to decapitate and kill my very own family. "Good work, Luxis~" he said smiling that huge grin. Tears slid down my cheeks as I looked up at him. I nodded my head once as I saw my sister's lifeless head pinned to the wall, her body slumped on the floor. My arms hung in front of me, a large double bladed axe coated in the crimson color I loved so much. Why did I do this? He made me. He had some kind of interest in me. I killed them. I killed my family because he wanted me too.

<Time skip 10 years>

I scaled the mountain with difficulty. Usually I loved climbing. I didn't want to use my Innocence because I wanted to prove myself. No loser would use their Innocence to scale the mountain to the Black Order. I neared the top now. The rocky surface scratched my palms. Red blood made my palms sticky and slick against the rock. I slung one arm onto the top of the mountain. 'Now I have to pull myself up' I thought to myself as I heaved my body up and onto the surface of the top of the mountain.

I panted and sucked in air to my burning lungs. There it was. The Black Order's HQ. I was going to be an official exorcist now! I can get revenge on the Earl! I walked up to the gates where a giant statue stood. A small camera stood near the entrance. I tapped the camera as if to say 'Hello? I'm here.' "Who are you?" A speaker next to the camera said. "Luxis Palen." I said looking at my nails. "Well Luxis. What brings you here?" It said. "To become an exorcist." I said still looking at my nails. "Do you have Innocence?" It said. I reached my arm in front of me, a rippling sensation going through my arm. A large double bladed axe with a silver edge and red blade emerged from my arm. The handle was long and black as well. Trust me when I say this, the axe is HUGE. It literally is as tall as me, the blades taking half of that. The mic went silent as the statue moved. Right now nothing surprised me. It's eyes opened as it scanned me, trying to figure out if I was human or Akuma. I guess it saw the Pentacle on my right eye, because it got really confused. "AKUMA! No wait! Human? WAIT SHE'S AKUMA!" The statue said. I sighed. It wasn't like I hadn't heard that before. A few seconds later there was a blade at my neck. I tilted my head back to see a man with blue hair in a ponytail. He was wearing a black and white coat, so I assumed he was an exorcist. In one second, I had my axe out and rested against his Achilles' tendon. Out of the corner of my eye, the gate opened and a boy with white hair walked out. He had the same pentacle as me, but on his left eye. "She's not an an Akuma." The boy said. "Finally." I said as I disarmed my axe. 'Innocence, deactivate.' I thought as the silver sheen along the blade disappeared and it slithered back into my arm with a crunch. The blade was removed from my neck as I walked inside the gate, ignoring the various comments from the boy and man.

I walked around the HQ, ignoring the weird looks I got. Eventually that white haired boy found me again. He walked up to me. "Hello. Are you a new exorcist?" He said smiling. "Yes." I said giving a short reply. "Well, what's your name?" He asked. "Weren't you listening? It's Luxis Palen." I said glaring at him. "Oh, well my names Allen." He said still smiling. He stuck his hand out, obviously waiting for me to shake it. I took his hand in my bloody one. "Nice to meet you!" He said in a cheery voice. "Yeah." I grumbled. "So you're a exorcist too?" Allen asked, slightly excited. "Yup. My axe here can cut through any surface, hard or soft, and transform into two littler tomahawk type things." I said explaining my Innocence. "That's so cool! Also...what's up with your axe coming from your body?" Allen asked. "I have no clue. All I know is that when I grow, it grows and is actually really lightweight." I explained. "You know, about a month or two ago, we got an exorcist with a power similar to yours. She has two guns, that can transform into one, the opposite of yours, but she's not parasitic." Allen said lightly. "That's cool, can't wait to meet her!" I said smiling, thinking of meeting the first girl I'd seen here.
