Chapter 16:Captured

Luxis' Pov

"I'm going to go to the bathroom." I said standing up hurriedly. My stomach twisted, beads of sweat dripping down my face. A grey color spread slowly across my fingertips as I locked myself in the bathroom, inhaling the scent of ammonia and cleaning supplies. The stale air coming from the vent above did nothing to calm me down, nor help my current temperature. My skin was flashing now as I leaned over the sink, my knuckles gripping the cool metal, turning my knuckles white. My eyes were turning from Amber to green, scaring me slightly. I had no idea what was happening. This was the second time it had happened in my entire life! The second time just after I was cursed. My heart raced, as the hairs on my arms stood up. A soft knocking interrupted my thoughts as I tried calming down. Chloe slowly entered, me paying no attention towards my blonde best friend. A soft gasp emanated from her lips as she quickly shot the door, a dull thud following as I assumed she slid down the door.

My eyes twitched, blood slowly dripping from open sores along my hairline. "STOP IT!" I screeched clawing at my head. Voices rippled in my skull, reverberating through my brain. 'Join us. Accept us.... You'll be stronger.' They said, taunting me ever so strongly. An ear splitting scream filled the space around me as I scratched at my wrist, a burning feeling over coming me. I couldn't breath. I choked on the air around me, my throat becoming stuffed and dense. I gasped for air, as frantic shouts came from the door behind me. I fell to my knees, bending my upper body backwards in an arch. I screamed again, my blood boiling. "Nyagh!" I yelled, my body becoming still. I had no control over it as a laugh flowed from my small pink lips. My eyes widened, almost crazily, as the door flung open. "So you've joined the party, ex-or-cists?" I said my voice slightly deeper. Somewhere deep In my mind, thoughts drifted through my mind. 'This was wrong! I know these people! Allen! Chloe! Lavi! Stop it!' I yelled in my head, falling to the floor and twitching slightly.

A dark cloud overcame my vision as stabs of pain flowed through my body. "GET OUT!" I screamed clutching my pounding head. A soft hand was placed on my cheek as I looked to the side, my eyes widening. Tears streamed down my face, wetting the floor beneath me. A soft and kind smile was placed upon Allen's face. "W-Why are you s-smiling.....?" I whispered. "Because I'm here for you. And I know you're not one of them." He said kissing my cheek gently. I smiled a small grin, placing my hand on top of Allen's. "I promise, I'll make the right choice." I said drifting off to a void of black.

<Dream Thing>

In front of me stood someone. They looked exactly like me, with black hair a 5'6 body, but they were.......different. Their skin was grey, their eyes a brilliant amber color. They wore a nice black gown, flowing softly to the ground. Their hair was done in a casual style, it being curled gently and left to bounce along her framed shoulders. I wore the opposite. A red dress flowed to my knees, not exactly a straight down dress, but somewhere in between a tutu and a cocktail dress. My three inch heeled combat boots dressed my feet, my hair falling straight to my waist. "Who are you." I said sharply, not wasting time. "Oh don't tell me you've forgotten! I'm Minx Ender, your Noah." She said looking at me and smirking. My eyes widened as I stood shocked. "M-My Noah?" I asked, stuttering. "Noah of Agony." She corrected herself, standing proud. "But we look the same." I said looking at her. "Because we are." She said shrugging, her perfect frame following. "You've been neglecting me for quite some time now, my dear Luxis. Now why is that?" She asked staring at me. "I don't even know who you are!" I shouted glaring. "Oh. Of course. Ignoring that. You have a choice. Join with me, or? Be an puny exorcist like your pathetic friends." Minx said sneering. "Never!" I Hissed glaring at her. "That's what they all say." She said putting her finger on her temples and rubbing them gently. "That's all for now." She said waving her hand as where we were disappeared, leaving me to fall in the pit of darkness.

<Dream End>

I awoke with a start, sweat dripping down my face. I lay in the booth, a wet cloth draped across my forehead. Lavi, Allen, and Chloe sat across from me, either tapping there feet or pacing nervously. My wrist still burned as I was thrown into a coughing fit. Allen rushed to my side, helping me up slowly. "I did it." I said slowly. "I defeated my Noah." I said my voice rasping. "For now." Lavi said grimly. "So what are we going to do? The Black Order can't find out. They would literally kill Lux where she stood." Chloe said looking at me with worry in her blue orbs. I smiled softly, not wanting them to know my pain. "I'll be fine. And if they do find out, I'm sure you guys would stop them." I said winking. Allen side hugged me as I smiled at him. "Lux. I don't think you realize the severity of what this could lead to. If they found out, you would be dead. No buts or ifs." Lavi said putting his elbows on his knees. "I know. I'm willing to take that chance." I said seriously. "We'll look out for you. If anyone suspects anything, we'll lead them off." Chloe said smacking her closed fist into her open palm. "Thanks." I said as the train came to a screeching halt.

We grabbed our small luggage bags and left the train booth, walking along the carpeted floor. Sitting in one of the seats was a middle aged man wearing a top hat and a tux. As I walked by he swiftly pulled my arm, making me unbalanced. I fell into the seat without a sound as he covered my mouth, not letting me alert my friends. "Well, I see Minx unsuccessfully changed you. She was close though. Anywho, you need to come with me." He said as I realized something. This man was a Noah.

Well it's Rachel reporting to you live from my bedroom, Eclair wrote this one so the next chapter is one I wrote. Me and Eclair are excited to be getting closer and closer to the end but at the same time really sad! any way enjoy this chapter
