Chloe's Pov

Lavi and I stood their watching this all go down. I wanted to jump into the conversation. I wanted to stop Allen, but my lips wouldn't move. I felt betrayed. I finally thought I found another friend I can trust, but I was wrong. I'm not mad at her, I'm just disappointed in her. I'm disappointed she didn't tell me. If she had just told me sooner this could've ended a lot differently. I mean, I understand the concept of do what you have to, to live but at what cost? The lives of others? Hurting innocent people is just inhumane...there had to be other ways...there had to be...right? "Allen are you ok?" I said in a soft tone. "No how could I be!" He yelled back. "Hey, we are just as upset as you are that's no reason to take it out on Chloe." Lavi said."You're right. I'm sorry Chloe." Allen apologizing. "It's ok. I understand you didn't mean to take it out on me your just upset." I said trying to hide my sadness behind a smile. It didn't work though. I could feel my face heat up and my eyes begin to water. Before I let any one see my saddens and confusion I ran to my room calling behind me "I think I need some time to myself". I sat on my bed not really knowing why I was crying. I guess I was just confused thinking about how most likely I would've done the same thing to stay alive or I couldn't handle being betrayed and lied to again.

Lavi's pov

"Go..go after her." Allen said to me. "Are you sure you'll be ok." I said. "I'll be fine. She needs some one there for her, and I think Im the one who sort of drove her over the edge." Allen said scratching the back of his head. I ran across the hall and knocked on her door. "Come in." I heard her call, though her voice was shaky. I saw her try to dry her tears, but it wasn't working. I sat down next to her on her bed and put my arm around her. She laid her head on my shoulder. "It's ok. We're all upset. It's not news people take lightly you know. Finding out your sisters a psychotic murderer is not exactly fun." I said trying to make her feel better. She tried not to laugh, but let out a small chuckle then her expression got serious again. "You don't know how I got my Innocence, do you?" She asked. "No, why?" I asked back. She then looked me straight in the eyes and told me about everything, how she made a deal with the earl, how her dad took her place, and how she had to kill them with the innocence. "That's awful." I said. She nodded in agreement. "You're the first person I've ever told about that." She said with a look if despair. "She is not a psychotic murderer. She was just trying to stay alive till she got to the black order. Allen basically just said 'Nope. You're not allowed to make a better life for yourself. Go back to killing people." Chloe said with a serious look."we better go after her then." I said giving her one of my signature smiles. "C'mon we better move quick then." She said smiling back. I removed my arm from around her shoulder and got up. I offered her a hand to help her up she gladly took it and I pulled her up. "Ya know there's something special about you, you always see the best in people and know what to do." I said while Chloe pathetically tried to cover a blush. We started to run down the hall and we reached the front door and pushed it open. Lux was barley still within eye sight I knew we wouldn't be able to catch up to her, so I used my hammer. "Big hammer! Little hammer! Grow! Grow! Grow!" I shouted as my hammer grew 6 times my height and I used it to pull Lux back in. "What the?" I heard her shout.

Luxis' Pov

I didn't know were I was going all I knew was I wasn't wanted here. I got running trying to suppress my feelings. Suddenly I saw a a hammer come in front of me "Lavi?" I wondered before I knew it was being pulled back and was face to face with Lavi and Chloe. "Wait Allen's not here he's probably being stubborn." I thought. "Like it or not you are an Exorcist and Allen doesn't have the authority to say other wise." Chloe said. "What you did was wrong, but I understand the feeling of being alone and not knowing how your going to survive and not even being able to comprehend what you did yourself! I know the feeling, and you're not alone. You came to the black order because you didn't want to have to live like that, now what? Are you just going to go back to killing innocent people!" Chloe shouted her voice beginning to be shaken obviously remembering something from her past. "Really? You understand all that I'm going through. Then what happened to you." I said, glaring. Chloe explained everything that had happened that night many years ago and now I understand why she hates the Earl so much. When she was done explaining she added "Lavi is the only person I've ever told besides you." She said her voice shakier than before. "I didn't realize how close you two were." I said raising an eyebrow at Chloe. Her and Lavi tag teamed death glared at me. "Sorry wrong time, we'll talk about this later, though." I said putting my hands up. "Please don't go back to being an assassin. Come with us and continue being a member of the black order. I think they'll understand because that was in the past and your different now." Chloe said with a sweet smile. "Of course I want to. It's just I don't know how they will handle it especially if any of them handle the news as badly as Allen." I said. "I don't think he was mad at you for being an assassin just hurt that you didn't trust him enough to tell him, that's what I was upset about... And it's obvious he likes you." Chloe whispered in my ear so Lavi couldn't hear. I blushed as red as a tomato. "What did you say! Why is she blushing." Lavi said concern coating his voice. "Oh, nothing." Chloe said. "So will you come back to the black order with us?" Lavi asked. "Of course! I really didn't want to go back to my old job...it just wasn't for me" I said. "Who wants a job like that anyway?" Lavi said. "The Earl sure doesn't mind killing innocent people." Chloe said earning a laugh from me and Lavi. Great, now we have to tell Allen I'm back.....
