Minx's Pov

I was helpless. I had no idea what to do. My Innocence would reject me if I tried to use it again, and I couldn't fight. Not with what Lavi had told me. "Road. Take the pain away. Make me forget. I don't care what you do. Just make me able to fight again. I don't want to remember. I want to be with my family. You guys." I whispered with my head down. She looked at me and smiled a kind smile. "What doesn't kill us makes us stronger, Minx. I'm sorry. I know it must be painful, but just think of us. Okay? I know you can do it." She said smiling and hugging me. My black hair whipped around in the wind as I jumped down onto the giant Akuma's head. "Hey! Exorcists! Don't ignore me! I'm not out of the fun yet!" I yelled, jumping off of the Giant's head. All rational thoughts left my head as I jumped behind a building in an empty alleyway. I sat down on the cold hard floor, goosebumps rising along my skin.

I need a plan. I am the Noah of Agony. Trickery? I had a nice plan, though I didn't know if It would work. I let my skin lighten as I jumped back onto the tower and down a hatch that led to the dining area. I found my way back to my room and grabbed my bag of extra weapons, and activated my Innocence, as a burning sensation spread through my body. 'Listen here Innocence. Just for once corporate with me? You didn't kill me back then so you shouldn't now.' I thought in my head as the burning stopped, my axe forming in my hands. I jumped out the window, landing on my feet gracefully. "L-Lavi!" I yelled in Lux's slightly higher voice. I ran full force and knocked him down as Tykki almost took his head off. "L-Lux! I thought-" Lavi said before I cut him off. "I'm back." I said hugging him. Tyki shot a raises eyebrow at me as I put my finger over my lips as if to say 'shhh.' He nodded his head and returned that infamous smirk to his face. I rolled off of Lavi and raised my arms, ready to swing. Lavi jumped up next to me, his hammer landing straight on where Tykki was just a few seconds earlier. I turned around to see Tykki while Lavi was still looking forward. "Whew. That was a close one!" He said as I leapt up and attempted to cut at his back, before flipping behind him. "I think that one actually hurt!" He said looking at me. "Now, dear Minx. Why would you hurt your favorite brother?" He said turning around to look at me. "Im Lux, not Minx." I said in a dangerously low tone. I blew another wave at him, making him block it with his little purple cross thing. Man, someone give me an Oscar! Lavi seemed relieved as did everyone else. I crouch low with one of my legs outstretched, balancing my weight in the center.

Tykki lunged at me as I preformed a perfect back hand spring to get away. I used my hands to push myself up so I could flip into the air, I twirled once before sending a wave to Tykki's leg and pushing it out from underneath him. He fell against the ground, sinking in it. The city was pretty much destroyed by now and a tall tower of light stretched from a single house in the far corner of town. Suddenly, the long blue haired exorcist I hated landed on the building giving a 'Tch' before Lavi shouted at him. "Yu! You need to take out the Giant Akuma! Lux and I are kind busy!" He yelled as Kanda got a dangerous glint in his eyes. "How many times do I have to tell you not to call me by my first name?!" He said putting Mugen against Lavi's throat. "Sorry." Lavi squeaked. Kanda just 'tch-ed.' Again before activating level two of his Innocence and slicing the Giant in one fell swoop. I cringed inwardly as Lavi cheered.

Lavi and I focused on the tower where The Millennium Earl stood, two balls of darkness, in his hands. He fired them at the city, completely obliterating it. Smoke filled the area as Skinn leapt at us, swiping his arms at us brutally. I swept my axe at Skinn, carefully making sure it looked real, but didn't hurt him. The smoke cleared a bit as I could see LenaLee in some sort of crystal thing. "LenaLee!" I shouted running over to her. She was encased In a crystal like thing, covering her body. I pounded on the crystal, trying to wake her up. A pounding pain vibrated in my head making me gasp. I grabbed my head, the pain reverberating through my skull, leaving me in a heap on the floor. My skin flashed from grey to white, alternating every so often. A voice repeated a single word in my head, 'Monster'. "You little brat!" I shouted, hitting my head, trying in vain to beat the voice in my head senseless. I curled up In a ball, screaming. A blast of air surrounded my as I slumped down again.

I stood up slowly, coughing a bit. Black blood came from my mouth, splattering on the ground. Any scratches or bumps disappeared leaving me unscathed. My previously white skin, turned grey as I turned around slowly, having gained control of my body once more. I giggled creepily, my head hanging, eyes covered. My plan was falling apart, slowly and surely. My plan of tricking them had disappeared right when I stood up. My head slowly turned upwards, letting the hair on my face, fall onto my shoulders and down to my mid back. My chest rose and fell with the sound of my laughter, beating up and down. My body shook as my hands rose, pointing at the sky. I brought my body up, twitching. I rolled my jaw, cracking it. All of my family at stared at me, eyes wide. Exorcists were the same way.

My mouth opened slightly, a melodious voice coming from my mouth. It was a dark tune, one I had never sung before. It had unexpected high notes and low noted I didn't even know I could hit. An important question pounded in the back of my mind as I sang; who taught me this song? I finished the song shortly, before jumping in the air. My body arched as I flipped onto the Millennium Earl's shoulders. Road stood beside me on Lero as I winked at her. Everybody was fighting now, as The Millennium Earl grabbed Lero and set me on the ground. Lero turned into a broad sword as the man I hated more than anything joined the fight.

He had new I Innocence I saw. A black arm with silver tips. I couldn't look at him. It disgusted me. I joined the fray, controlling who ever was in my way. I made my way towards Allen before Kanda and Tyki moved in my way, my eyes flashing with anger. I flicked both of my arms to the side, sending them both out of the way. "Minx!" Tyki complained as I growled. An explosion sounded, as the Millennium Earl floated in the air. "Hehe~ that was an amusing fight indeed. Noah. Let's go." He said as I jumped on his shoulders. Allen looked at me briefly, a shock, but pained look spreading on his face. I jumped down a smile widening on my face. A plan formed swiftly in my head. I hugged Allen before slowly raising one of my hands, preparing to control him. A sadistic smile replaced my normal one as a blob of red pushed Allen away from me. I backed up before back flipping onto the Millennium Earl's shoulders. Lavi glared up at me as I still smiled. My hands fell as I morphed back into my normal Noah form. We disappeared as I sent a wave and wink at Allen.

Allen's Pov

Tears formed in my eyes as Lux disappeared, Lavi and Chloe glaring at her all the way. "W-Was that really, Lux?" I asked Lavi whispering. "She's not Lux anymore. She's Minx. The Noah of Agony." Lavi said looking down. "No.... No, No, No, No, No, No!" I shouted as I pounded my fist on the ground. "But why?" I asked quietly. "We all knew she had the Noah! But she always had such a strong will of controlling it! She wouldn't give in unless she lost everything....." I ranted tears streaming down my face. "Hey, Allen. She loved you, ya know. Immensely. She would do anything for you. So I wondered how she felt after she was threatened that someone, namely Tyki, would kill you. Sad. Protective. These are valid emotions that will push someone over the edge. She was doing it to protect us." Chloe finished, staring me in the eyes. Tears streamed down my face, all of my loss and pain pouring out of me. "We're sorry Lux. We failed you." We all whispered under our breaths, letting the pain go, but not forgotten.
