***Cas' POV***

I looked down at the slice of pizza that Sam had put in front of me. He was now gone and the food had long since gotten cold. The ache in my stomach told me that I needed the food but for some reason I didn't want it.

I didn't want to be human and do human things like eat and sleep. Which was probably why my eyes ached. But that could also be result of the tears I had been holding back.

"Cas...." Dean walked in and sat beside me at the table. "You gotta eat. You need food now." I could hear genuine concern in his voice which only made me feel worse because he never let his feelings show except for occasionally to Sam.

I felt a tear slide down my cheek and he wiped it away with his index finger. "Everything hurts."

"Because you haven't eaten or slept in almost three days."

I shook my head. "Not what I mean, Dean."

Dean pursed his lips and I could tell he was trying to think of something to say that would help. I doubted anything could. "Being a human isn't that bad, Cas. I could take you to a strip club! You can actually enjoy that now that you aren't an angel."

I honestly tried to be nice since I knew he was only trying to help. "That's a shitty idea, Dean, and you know it."

"We could.... go to the park? and feed some ducks?" I just rolled my eyes at him. "C'mon. I'll drive you to Chicago right now and we can get some pizza. You can enjoy good now. How about Philadelphia and get a cheese steak sandwich?"

I pushed the plate of cheep pizza away from me. "I don't want any fucking food. I want my grace!" I began to sob and his my face in my arms on the table.

"Please.... Cas, don't cry..." Dean put a hesitant hand on my shoulder, trying to comfort me.

"These human emotions suck." I sniffled.

Dean moved his hand to mine and laced our fingers together. "Not all of them..."

I stopped sobbing and looked up at him. He was right.

Maybe I could learn to live with this human stuff.
