"Winchester!"

I jumped away from the computer I was working at and stood at attention for Bobby, my higher-up and close family friend. Although the latter was not relevant at this moment in time. "Yes, sir."

"At ease," he muttered and pushed my head to the side to look at my neck. "What the hell is this?" He poked at my neck an I instantly turned red, remembering a hickey that Cas had left there the previous night.

"Oh, umm, well, ya see-" I stuttered, trying to come up with an excuse.

"I know what it is, ya idjit." he smacked me upside the head, "with love" he would tell me when we weren't on duty. "It shouldn't be visible while in uniform."

I nodded. "I know, sir. But that wasn't exactly what was on my mind when it happened." I gave a small smile, trying to make the situation funny. Bad idea.

"Think this is funny, Winchester? I'll demote you to kitchen. Would that be funny?" He shouted, causing a few other guys to look over before quickly turning back to their work.

"No, sir." the smile immediately dropped from my face and I stood up even straighter.

"Good, I'm going to have a talk with your spouse. This better not happen again." he turned to leave but seemed to remember something and faced me again. This time he spoke with a softer voice, "Ellen's having dinner for Jo's birthday tomorrow night. You and Cas should come." he smiled then left.

"Bobby called." Cas said as I walked in the door. "Apparently, I damaged government property." I walked into the living room to find him with a large smile on his face.

I leaned down to kiss him before heading to our room to change out of uniform, Cas following close behind me, "oh, yeah? What'd you do? Make a smashed penny?" I joked.

He laughed and poked the hickey on my neck. I smacked his hand playfully and laughed with him. "He said I better not do it again."

"Darn," I chuckled as I pulled a Zeppelin t-shirt out of our closet. "What a shame, no more hickies."

Cas took the shirt from my hand and tossed it to the ground, "or I'll just leave them where nobody can see."
