i'm in a better mood today.

mostly because i was tired of being so down all the time. also, i could tell the guys' moods always changed when they came around me, which made me feel like i was some kind of burden nowadays. this isn't who i am. i have to be happy again.

another week full of nightmares has passed by, and mom is actually considering taking me to the hospital now.

her mind changed when i woke up hysterically crying the other morning.

"oh, y/n!" renjun's voice made me look up from the ground as i trudged through the hallway, making my way to my next class. i smiled at him.

"i have something for you." he smiled wide, holding out a small bag for me to take. i couldn't help but notice how adorably excited he looked.

i took the bag from him and thanked him, but he insisted that i open it now. worried that i might be late to class, i hurriedly dug under the pile of tissue paper.

i was surprised when i pulled the gift out. i know i've seen one of these before, but i wasn't sure what they were called. it had feathers and beads dangling from the bottom of it.

"it's a dream catcher! that way you won't have nightmares anymore."

i smiled, but i wasn't sure how this was supposed to help at all.

"renjun, how is this thing supposed to get rid of my nightmares?"

he grinned, as if he were waiting for me to ask. "it only lets good dreams pass through, and it catches the nightmares so they don't reach you."

he looked so happy, so i really felt bad when i spoke; "oh, you and your supernatural stuff again.."

he frowned. "fine, don't put it up and get murdered in your dream tonight."

he turned to walk away, his eyebrows furrowed, but i stopped him as i let a laugh fall from my lips. "i'm sorry, i was just kidding. thank you, i really appreciate it." i made sure to smile.

he grinned, as if he couldn't stay mad at me for long, and shrugged to say it was no problem.
