"but you were so crazy about jeno. what the heck happened?"

i sighed and rested my head in my hand as i talked on the phone with renjun.

"i don't know. it just hit me like a truck. i've known jaemin for years, yet all the sudden it's like i see him in a completely different perspective and i don't know what to do about it."

i figured renjun would be the perfect person to talk to about this, because we were pretty close and haechan would just tell jaemin everything.

"tell him how you feel." he simply answered. "you guys are really close, it's not like you'll ruin your friendship or anything."

"yeah, but-" as soon as i was about to speak, he interrupted me, which slightly took me off guard.

"y/n, can i just tell you something? this is bothering the hell out of me."

"uh.. yeah, i guess."

i could hear him take a deep breath. "jaemin totally has a thing for you. he told me last week. so if you're scared or whatever, don't be."

i was taken aback for a moment, and unsure of how to respond.

"are you serious?"

"yeah. now you should just date already, this is making me lose my mind."

i laughed at that.
