Location : Amber's Car
Time : Departure of my flight
Current Status : Chaos.

"I'LL NEVER GET OVER THE FACT THAT YOU NAMED ROOKIE AFTER COOKIE." She laughed.

It felt nice until it suddenly got quite.

"Wow I really missed this." Amber said smiling at me.

"Yeah..." I said.

"I missed us." She put her seat belt on.

"Then why did you do it?"

She was quite.

"Why did you do that to me?" I felt my voice go soft.

"Renjun... it was to help you." She answered.

"You ruined me Amber. You ruined us." I said with tears rolling down.

"Oh Renny..."

"Whyyy Amber?... why did you do that to me?" I realised I was crying now.

"I'm sorry. What did you expect me to do? I was scared..." She whispered softly.

"I expected you to help me. Not joke about it God you were supposed to be my elder sister. Even if you couldn't relate to me atleast you could have talked to me." I could no longer tell if the tears were of frustration or sadness.

"You shut me off Jun. I didn't know how to break that wall you created." She had her head hung low.

"We drifted apart Amber. After you graduated you never stayed at home. I changed and so did you.... You were supposed to talk me out of it... If it weren't for grandma back then.... I wouldn't even be here." I turned to face her.

"Can't we talk now?" She was crying too.

"Isn't it a little too late for that..." I wiped my tears.

"I'll do the talking this time and you do the listening. I'll let you know why I didn't stay at home. It was because I was pathetic. I was a coward who couldn't face her dysfunctional family." She slammed the steering wheel.

"Why did you leave me behind Amber?" I pressed on.

"Because I loved you little bro... And I didn't know how to fix you. All my life I've masked my true emotions by distracting myself. By being this rebellious asshole. I didn't want you to turn out like me..."

"I love you too Amber but you really make it so hard for me sometimes. I think you passed on some of that asshole-ness to me." I half laughed.

"So we cool now?"

"I don't completely forgive you... But I'll try." I smiled at her.

"You know what? I hate it in that house with mum." She announced.

"Me too..." I agreed.

"I think mum still loves dad." She said.

"I think dad still loves mum." I said.

"I think that we need to get this family back together."

"Wow that's a lot of thinking but I agree with your thinking." I shook my head in agreement.

"But wait... How do you know dad misses her too?" She asked.

"I talked to him.... Over phone." I quickly said. Almost fucked it up there haha.

"He finally called? After all this time?" She asked with her eyes wide open.

"No... I called him. He's just like you. He prefers to hide his feelings and is scared. Wow this is basically everyone in our family huh?"
