"I can't believe this... It's really happening," mapait na wika ni Dave matapos niyang sabihin ang gusto niyang maki-pag break na dito.
"Dave...." I whispered. Alam ko balang-araw pagsisisihan ko ang bagay na 'to... "I'm sorry," nakayukong-sabi ko.I can't help but cry again...Ayokong makita ang galit o dismaya sa mukha ni Dave.Ayokong isipin niya na pinaglaruan ko lang siya.Because ano pa man ang paliwanag ko alam ko iisipin niya na parang ganun yon.Alam kong masasaktan talaga siya di ko naman talaga maiiwasan yon kahit ayaw ko siyang masaktan.
"Don't cry,Em..." Dave said at masuyong hinawakan ang mukha niya...saka pinalis nito ang mga luha sa kanyang mga mata gamit ang likod ng palad nito. "Don't cry...I hate seeing those tears in your eyes,"
"I'm really sorry Dave...sorry talaga..." I said as sobbing.
"Don't be...whatever reason you have to make this decision I respect it,Em..." malumanay na sabi ng binata.
"T-talaga?" I asked with hesitation...
"Just tell me that you don't mean to fool me," matiim na wika nito
Sunod-sunod akong napailing.
"Maniwala ka Dave...wala akong intensyon na pagmukhain kang tanga o...saktan ka,"
"It's settled then," may maliit na ngiting sabi ng binata. "I'm fine...don't feel guilty 'Em.Pero aaminin ko masakit pa rin, alam mo naman kung gano kita ka mahal..I thought yesterday is the start of our real relationship.. You know,you just granted my wish when you finally said yes,"
"Alam ko..sorry talaga, Dave..Maybe...maybe you should start courting someone else..." kahit masakit sakin ay sinabi ko.
He hold my hand and give small kisses with it. "No,Em..I wouldn't do that. I don't want to mend my broken heart that way.I will use the silent type of moving on...I guess," sabi nito na bahagyang natawa. "You know..one day in a relationship with you is hard to forget,"
At natawa ako sa sinabi niya.Natawa din siya and when our laughter end..our eyes just meet and he hold me in his arms for a tight hug.
And I savored the moment...
