Magnus panicked as demons surrounded him. He was in a dark alleyway that reeked of pee. There were no light sources, but luckily Magnus had his cat eyes to help him see. Cars could be heard zooming past on the main road close by, though that was the only noise that could be heard.

The warlock began to back into a corner as the hellhounds circled him, approaching slowly, growling all the while. Magnus jumped, surprised when his back hit the wall. He tried, again and again, to spark his magic to life. Every attempt failed and Magnus grew more and more panicked. The demon dogs snarled and snapped as Magnus snapped his fingers, trying to ignite his magic. Then one spring at him.

Before the hellhound could get a foot closer to Magnus, a bright, pure white light burst from what seemed to be above them. The dogs began to burn and then disappeared, leaving behind the scent of burnt, rotting flesh. The light was... holy light? Magnus was so confused. Why wasn't he burning with them? Then he saw it. A beautiful angel descending from the heavens. The details came into view: raven black hair, ocean blue eyes... it was Alexander! It was his beautiful blue-eyed boy, though there were a few different things about him. For one, he had huge feathery wings that spanned the length of the alley, then twice more. They were pure white in colour and they shined in the darkness. The hunter-turned-angel landed in front of the warlock, heavenly light falling on them both.
"A-Alexander?" Magnus asked hesitantly.
"Yes, Magnus?" Alec replied, his eyes trained on the floor.
"Look at me," Magnus asked and when the angel refused, he pleaded.
"Alexander, please. I haven't been you in so long." Reluctantly, Alec lifted his head, his eyes instantly locking onto Magnus' strong gaze. The cat-eyed warlock gasped in shock. Alec's eyes... they had changed. Now, one was the shade of blue he remembered, but the other... the other made it seem like Magnus was looking in a mirror. The angel's eye was gold and green, with the pupil slitted like a cat's.
"Y-your eye..." Magnus breathed. He couldn't believe it!
"They told me I could keep one token from this world. I chose this."
"I love you, so so much, Alexander," Magnus said quietly, tears beginning to fall.
"I love you too, Mags... please don't cry!" Alec said softly, though tears were shining in his eyes too. Magnus stood on his tiptoes and pressed his lips to Alexander's, tasting the familiar taste of his hunter on his tongue. Alec immediately returns the kiss, wrapping his arms around the warlock and being gentle with every move. Then he was gone.

Suddenly sitting up, Magnus gasped as his eyes flew open. Breathing heavily, he looked around frantically, searching for the boy he wanted, the boy he needed. There was no sign of him... it was a dream. A dream Magnus wished so much was real.
