Chapter 13

Rosé's POV

Friday - January 4, 2018

"Talia, Jungkook, dinner is here!" I shouted up the stairs after grabbing the food and paying the delivery man. Within seconds, I heard what could have been mistaken for a herd of elephants stampeding down the stairs. Talia very quickly got into her seat and immediately started eating the slice of pizza in front of her. I rolled my eyes at her adorableness. Right when I was about to grab another slice for myself, I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist.

"Thank you for the food," Jungkook whispered in my ear before pecking my cheek and releasing his hold on me. He grabbed a plate along with a slice of pizza and sat next to Talia. I sat down across from him and began eating.

I turned around and saw Nari entering the house. I got up from the couch and helped her with the grocery bags she struggled to hold on to. I brought them into the kitchen and placed them on the counter. She followed behind with the rest.

"Thank you, Rosé," Nari spoke.

"Of course."

I waited to see if she needed any help but she just looked at me. "Go, I know you have a date with Jungkook, go," She laughed.

"Thank you, Nari." I quickly hurried out of the kitchen and up the stairs. I opened the door to Jungkook's room and found him laying on his stomach, facing the other way on his laptop. He didn't hear me enter since he didn't turn around. I snuck up behind him, climbed on the bed, and layed on his back.

"Holy shit!" He whipped his head around and relaxed once he saw me. "Geez, don't do that. I just had a heart attack." He layed his hands down and rested his head on them while catching his breath after getting scared to death.

I leaned forward and kissed his cheek, "So what is this surprise date you have planned?"

"Do you know what the definition of surprise is?" He picked his head up while asking.

"Yes."

"Then you know I'm not going to tell you."

"Then how about we just go now?"

"Nari's back?" He questioned turning his head to the side a little to see me.

"Yeah."

"Alright, then get off me." I rolled off his back so he could get up. He shut his laptop and pushed himself up so he was on his knees. "Princess, you have to get up as well." He said since I made no effort to move. He leaned down and pressed his lips against mine for a few seconds before pulling away and getting off the bed. "Come on princess." I sat up and watched him walk over to the pile of clothes thrown messily on the chair in the corner. He picked up his leather jacket which rested on the very top. I stood up and walked up behind him. Before I got to back hug him, he turned around and pulled me into his embrace. "You ready?" He asked while looking down and cupping my cheeks.

"Yes, sir."

"Alright, then let's go before the place closes." He grabbed my hand and led me downstairs. "Nari, we're leaving," Jungkook shouted as he opened the front door. He didn't even wait for a response before pulling me outside and shutting the door. We both got on his bike and he started riding in the direction of wherever this date is.

"Watch your step." Jungkook held very tightly onto me since he made me close my eyes. We then came to a stop. I was able to hear waves crashing, so my immediate thought was the beach, but I could tell we weren't walking on sand. "Okay, you can open your eyes now." He was still holding my hand, just not as tightly. I opened my eyes and straight ahead of me was the ocean and a few islands. I then looked below me and saw that the floor was made of glass so I was able to see the waves crashing into the rock. "I know this place isn't private or anything for just the two of us, I just thought it would be fun to come here with you."
