Chapter 24

Rosé's POV

Wednesday - July 11, 2018

I rang the doorbell and anxiously waited for someone to open the door. I have a key to Nari's house but since I'm not babysitting anymore, I didn't think it was right to just barge in unannounced. Pretty soon, Nari opened the door.

"Hey, Rosé," She greeted while stepping aside to let me in.

"Hi. How has everything been here?"

"Both of them are still sleeping."

My eyes widened, "Seriously? Jungkook and I have class in a half hour."

"Then you better go wake him. You'll have more luck than me."

We both laughed before I went upstairs. I opened his bedroom door and made my way over to the side of the bed he was on. I shook his arm a little to try and get him to wake up.

"Jungkook, come on, get up. We have class in a half hour," I attempted but failed. He just turned over, facing the other way. My sigh was drowned out by his alarm going off. I waited for him to move to turn it off, but he didn't. He's not a heavy sleeper, so what's his deal? I tried shaking him again but just like the first time, it didn't work. Just then, an idea popped into my head. I smiled before putting my backpack on the floor and climbing on the other side of the bed. I lightly pushed him so he was laying on his back before straddling his waist. I would've thought he would've woken up by now with the pushing, not to mention the fact that I am sitting on him. I leaned forward, placing my hands on his bare chest and pressed my lips to his. At first, I got no reaction, but after a few seconds, he responded and kissed back. I smiled again, victorious. He brought one hand up to my cheek and the other to my waist as he turned to move me off his lap and next to him. He rested his forehead on mine while pecking my lips a few times. Once he stopped, he opened his eyes.

"You know princess, I could get used to you waking me up like that," He smirked, "That worked better than any alarm could."

I laughed, "You're usually so easy to wake up. What happened that made it literally impossible?"

"I just went to bed late and my lack of sleep caught up to me."

"Well, better last night than now because we have class in a half hour."

He groaned, "Why did I ever think going to college was a good idea?"

"Oh shut up. Get up and get ready."

He brought his lips to mine for a few seconds and mumbled against them, "Yes ma'am."

Jungkook's POV

After the teacher finally dismissed the class, I hurried out to meet Rosé at the car. Once I got there, I noticed she wasn't there yet so she's probably held back at her class. I leaned my back against the car and took at my phone while I waited. After a few minutes, I picked my head up and saw her running over. I pulled her into my embrace once she was close enough to me.

"How's my princess doing?" I asked before kissing the top of her head.

"I'm fine. Sorry, I got here so late, I had to ask my teacher about the assignment he gave out today."

"What do you have to do?"

She responded once we were both in the car, "Some stupid writing assignment that I am not looking forward to doing, but let's not talk about school anymore."

"So is this a bad time to remind you we have another class in two hours?"

Before pulling out of the driveway, she punched my arm. "I'm gonna kill you."
