Chapter 10

Rosé's POV

Tuesday - January 1, 2018

I wasn't able to get much sleep. I slept maybe four out of the nine I tried getting. And to add to my already stressful morning, I start school again tomorrow. I dragged myself out of bed and downstairs to take a shower. Once I was done, I went back to my room and got dressed. I then texted Jennie and asked her to come over. Hopefully, she'll know what to do. Or could at least help. I entered the kitchen and ate something quickly while I waited for Jennie to get here. My mom was also in the kitchen with me.

"Honey, you look extremely tired. How much sleep did you get?"

"Four hours."

"Why?"

"I was thinking about something. I just couldn't fall asleep."

"Do you want to talk about it?"

"No, it's okay. And just so you know, Jennie is coming."

"Alright, I'm gonna be dropping off Roman at his friend's house in a little bit."

"Okay." I finished eating right as Jennie texted saying she was here. I let her in and we went to my room.

"Alright, so what's up? Your text sounded urgent," I laughed.

"My text sounded urgent?" She smiled.

"Shut up. Stop stalling and tell me what's up?"

I guess I'm not getting out of this. "Okay, so yesterday, Nari had an emergency at the hospital and needed me to watch Talia. I was there almost till midnight, so around ten, she went to bed. It was almost eleven when Jungkook came home."

"Oh, so this is about Jungkook?"

I rolled my eyes. "Anyway, he came home after getting into a minor motorcycle accident. I went upstairs and helped him with his injuries. We were talking about stuff that sorry, I can't talk about with you, but we were talking, and then...he kissed me."

"What? Holy shit! That's amazing. Oh my god." I should've expected her to react this way. When I told her about my first boyfriend, she lost her voice from screaming so much. When she realized I wasn't celebrating with her, she calmed down. "You don't seem happy."

"I honestly don't know how to feel right now."

"Why? Based on everything you've told me, you care about him and he cares about you."

"I don't know about that."

"What do you mean you don't know? He took you to his house after you got drunk at Chungha's party. He could've just left you there, but he didn't. And he didn't just take you to his house, he carried you to his house and took care of you." She ranted, putting emphasis on carried. "Based on the way you've talked about him, it seems like you like him. And if you're thinking and freaking out this much about it, then the kiss obviously meant something to you. Like I said, I think you like him. I think you know it too, you just don't want to admit it." She was right. She was a hundred percent right. "Come on. Say it. I want to hear you say it," She taunted.

"Fine. I like him. There, I said it." I somewhat whined as I buried my face in my pillow knowing I was blushing from admitting it out loud.

"See? Don't you feel better now that you've admitted it?"

"I guess. But I still don't know how he feels."

"That I can't answer for you. But I'm betting that he likes you too. He definitely cares about you. You need to talk to him."
