Chapter 38

Rosé's POV

Saturday - November 25, 2028

My heavy and tired eyes opened as a cry was heard throughout the house. I groaned as I slowly began to sit up. I didn't get very far though because I was lightly pushed back.

"Go back to sleep princess, I got it." I simply nodded at Jungkook's words before laying back down. I felt his lips press to my forehead before the bed shifted and he got up. I let myself sink into the sheets, the cool touch welcoming me. They stopped crying in the middle of the night, but ever since last week, it's started again and I haven't gotten nearly as much sleep as I would like. After a few minutes, the crying stopped. I smiled a little wondering how Jungkook managed to stop their crying this time. It wasn't long before he came back into the room and got back into bed.

"How'd you do it?" I asked as he laid on his side getting comfortable.

"Do what?" He questioned back, his eyes meeting mine.

"How do you manage to calm them down so quickly?"

"What do I do to calm you down?"

I smiled, "You and your voice. It does wonders."

"You would know," He smirked before pressing his lips to mine to prevent me from saying anything back. "Goodnight, princess." He continued smirking as he turned over and faced the other way.

I rolled my eyes before pulling on his arm so he was on his back. I moved closer and wrapped my arm around his waist. The last thing I felt before falling back asleep was his lips pecking the top of my head.

I was awoken by the creaking of the door. I opened my eyes and looked in the direction of the noise only to find Jungkook holding our son and daughter.
