Chapter 34

Rosé's POV

Tuesday - June 15, 2021

"Rosé, calm down. Everything is fine. Nothing is going to go wrong. Today is your wedding day and I will make sure everything stays perfect," Jennie reassured as she finished fixing my makeup. "You'll be fine, I promise." I nodded a few times, not really able to find the right words in that moment. "Alright, there isn't much time left until the ceremony starts. I'll go see how everything is downstairs." I nodded once again before she left. I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled just thinking about how in the next hour, I will be Mrs. Jeon. Even in my head, it sounds weird. I turned around upon hearing the door open and found Jennie hurrying over. "Everything is set up, Jungkook is waiting at the front, everyone is in position. All that's left is to make sure you're ready."

I took in a deep breath before answering, "I'm ready. I'm nervous and excited, but I'm most definitely ready."

"Alright, well your dad is waiting outside the room. I'll go get him." She left almost as quickly as she entered before I took another deep breath and exited the room as well.

----------

The music began playing as my dad and I walked out. My eyes immediately landed on Jungkook and in that moment, in my head, we were the only two people in the room.

A/N: And this is what Jungkook is wearing 😉

We started walking and it seemed that within seconds, I was standing right in front of him. My dad left and sat down next to my mom though I didn't pay much attention to it. I could only focus on the teary-eyed man in front of me. I smiled and his hands covered mine as I wiped his tears.

"You look gorgeous, princess," He whispered while pulling my hands away from his cheeks but still held onto to them.

"And you look handsome." He smiled and brought my hand to lips and pecked it before we faced the officiant.
