"is it christmas today, eunwoo?" jinae asked and took a sip from her mocha frappe.
eunwoo smiled sweetly before nodding. "and it's your birthday."
"why did't you tell me? ughhh!"
"that's why i gave you a gift yesterday!"
"i thought ..." jinae scratched her neck before she shook her head. "i thought you gave me a gift to comfort me for staying in the hospital for long."
"you were only there for two days, jinae."
"but it feels like forever! you know that."
"it's for your own good. don't complain, jinae." eunwoo said and ruffled jinae's hair. "check our group. everyone has greeted you."
jinae quickly opened her messenger and checked everyone's message greeting her for christmas and her birthday.
"i couldn't believe they all remembered my birthday!" jinae said excitedly.
eunwoo was watching her intently. he was waiting for her to react and remember — seungcheol didn't greet her on the group.
"he must have sent her a private message greeting her on her birthday." he thought.
scanning through the names, opening the messages one by one. she replied them with a grateful heart. however, the smile on her face never faded. it does seem so. she didn't remember that person. she didn't look for his name.
eunwoo felt relieved. but he also feel worried a bit.
