"can i check what is on february 14 of 2015? what i wrote last year?"

eunwoo looked at jinae who seemed really excited.

"i'll see what happened to me that —"

"no,. you can't." eunwoo said cutting her off. jinae looked really surprised. she wrote things that happened to her for her to be able to remember them. so she could go back whenever she likes.

whether they're good or bad memories.

"i-i mean... you don't need to. but if you really want to know what happened last year, then go ahead. but i swear i didn't give you flowers back then." eunwoo said and jinae chuckled.

"no worries. i was even surprised you brought me flowers and chocolates today. you even came while in that bear costume."

"everything for you."

"isn't it hot inside that costume?" jinae asked and eunwoo shook his head.

"a bit hot but tolerable."

"of course! it's eunwoo. he can do everything!" jinae said and laughed. "so, i'll read this okay?"

eunwoo watched her read her diary. she was smiling widely. she was too excited.

she finished reading it. without that smile on her face fading. it remained there.

"how was it?" eunwoo asked.

"hmm.... it's not surprising to know i was upset about him again."

"jinae —"

"don't worry, eunwoo. i'm used to it now. look up."

eunwoo did as he was told. he lifted his chin and looked up.

"seungcheol is a jerk. a jerk is a heartbreaker."

it was clearly written on papers connected to form a banner.

"why did you write it there?"

"that is to remind me of who he is."

eunwoo laughed. it is funny of how she reminds herself on things. but he has to admit, it's effective.

"hana calls for a meeting. do you want to come?"

"really? i'm meeting them?"

"oh, yes. they want to see you so badly. it has already been a month since the last time you saw them, right?"

jinae nodded firmly. "i always had to go to the doctor whenever the group has a meeting. i can't go."

"dress up now and we'll be leaving in an hour."

"i look well, don't i? i don't look sick at all?"

eunwoo nodded. "don't worry. you look fine — still great — after all."

jinae smiled and so left her seat and rushed to her room to get dressed.

eunwoo stood up and was surprised to see jia, jinae's sister, standing by the door frame.

"how long have you been standing there?"

"just now?" jia said.

"i'll bring jinae with me."

"you're not asking for my permission, am i right?" jia asked and eunwoo shrugged his shoulders. "just keep her away from seungcheol."

"i won't control her. she's free to do whatever she wants. you know that."

"even if it'll hurt her? i just don't want to see my sister crying for that guy again."

"she... cried because of seungcheol?" eunwoo asked.

jia shushed him and told to go out of jinae's room. "she cried multiple times. she has locked herself and cried. she don't know we knew about it."

"seungcheol don't know such things."

"he doesn't have to know just for him to start taking care of my sister. she cries for him or not, he has to take care of her if he really loves him."

"well, that's true..." eunwoo said as he timidly scratched the back of his head.

"now, just do your best for her not to get hurt. i'm not there to protect her. you'll be dead if you let something bad to happen to my sister, eunwoo."

"aye aye captain!"
