I sit in the living rook biting my nails nervously.

Its been four hours since Seok left and he hasn't come back yet.

I've only been sitting down for a little over an hour.

After cleaning up the kitchen and getting Eon in bed, i took a shower.

I was surprised to see that he wasn't home when i got out. I thought he just went for a drive to clear his head, but maybe i was wrong?

I sigh and look down at my arm where a fiery blue lightning bolt forms.

It starts to dance around, and it ends wrapping itself around my arm as if its comforting me.

A small smile appears and with it the flame like design disappears, satisfied.

I jump at the sound of the front door opening. I stand up and i strike a defensive position, ready to throw flames if i have to.

I calm down almost as quick as i jumped up when i realize it is only Seok.

He walks around the corner with two other men. His father and a well dressed man i have never seen before.

"Jagi," Seok sighs, "I figured if you wanted to fight, we might as well have a fair chance with a good lawyer." He motions to the man in the navy blue suit.

A lawyer..

How did i not think about that?

"But we can't afford a lawyer, especially not a good one at that." I say losing the rest of the tension in my shoulders.

"Don't worry about money Nani." Seok father steps forward and offers me a friendly smile.

I want to decline his offer.

I can't just take his money. How selfish of me?

...right?

I do not protest even though i want to, its either this or Seok will make me run away.

I nod my head lightly as i look down at my now fiddling hands.

"Nani," Seok puts his hands on my shoulders, "We will fight, and we will win. Not saying that tunning away isn't an option still." He giggles a little.

"Kim Seokyeon!" I slap his right arm laughing, "Stop with that already."

"Ok, ok." He laughs.

"So," I turn towards the lawyer, "They will be here in the morning to collect me, how are we going to present the case?"

"Well first of all, after they take you to jail, we can go in and bail you out, but you have to go to court, and nit miss one day of it."

"Of course!" I nod my head.

I was never planning on ditching the trial.

"But how much will it be to bail me out?"

"Well.."

"Don't worry about money Nani," Seoks dad cuts him off, "Please just worry about winning the case."

I nod a bit nervously and i know everyone can tell that i will never not worry.

"What else?" Seok asks the lawyer.

"Then you let me do my job. Ill prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Nani was only sticking up for a poor defenseless lady at the restaurant. She had good intents, and when the man threatened her  and her family, she had to protect them as well. Blah Blah Blah."

"Ok," Seok nods, "Sounds good."

"What do i have to do?" I ask.

"Just look as innocent and motherly as possible at all times during court. I'll have to ask you questions and i need you to answer them truthfully. The other team will do the same, but they will do their best to make you look like a monster. Don't fall into their trap. Prosecutors are some of the most heartless people when they are in court, don't feel bad for them at any point."

I only nod.

Why would i?
