Untamable

Ep.11

My heart pounds in my chest, so loud my ears sting. Anxiety and anger fill me. I have a sudden urge to fight this Kennedy.

A cold feeling falls over my body as i realize it is not my emotions, but Seoks.

I drop down and grab Cagh before she attacks. "Ma can you take Eon and Cagh to your room please."

"Of course." She walks over to us, picks up Eon and grabs Cagh's collar.

"Go with them Nani." Seok says through his teeth.

I simply shake my head and grab his arm. If i leave, god knows what trouble he would get himself in.

"Why are you here?" Joshua asks, still standing where he was before.

"Now that's no way to greet your eldest son now is it?" He smirks.

He pulls his hand up to his mouth and whistles.

The loud sound hurts my ears, and i squint a little.

"Saedyeon, come." He takes a few steps more into the house, and Seok forces me to take a few backwards, he puts his arm in front of me and pushes me behind him gently.

I look at him in confusion, but my attention gets drawn away by a  dark figure walking into the house, it scares me even more when it stands on its back legs.

I am in awe of the giant familiar. He is a seven foot brown bear, with a thick coat of fur, with one blonde spot on his left side. To my surprise the bear has two different colored eyes, one is green and one is black.

I smile at it.

Everyone looks at me as if i stole from a baby. I look down, still smiling.

"I like her." Kennedy snickers.

My eyes grow wide and i almost feel ashamed.

"What's your name sweetheart?" He takes a step closer to me.

Joshua and Seok both jump in his way to stop him.

Why are they so worried?

Why hadn't i heard of Kennedy?

Why is he here?

Many questions fill my mind, but i set them aside and try to focus.

Kennedy stops walking, but he keeps his eyes on me. He would be handsome if he wasn't so scary looking.

"What are you doing here, Kennedy?" Seok asks with an angry voice.

"Thought i'd visit home." His answer is short and quick. Still his eyes are on me.

"Miss, who are you?" He asks me.

"My name is Lee Nani." I answer and bow my head slightly.

"Nice to meet you, Lee Nani, I am Kim Kennedy." He takes a step back and bows. His bow is one of the highest respect, and i almost feel mocked, though i can see that he is sincere.

Seok is angry that I told him my name, and i can tell that he wants to scold me, but he is too focused on his brother.

"What were you guys celebrating?" Kenedy asks with yet another evil grin on his face.

I open my mouth to speak, but am cut off, "Your disappearance, we celebrate every Monday night."

I am surprised by Seok's suddenly cold heart.

"Im touched," Kennedy puts his hand over his heart, "You all celebrate me? Every week? I must be important."

Seok grows angry at himself for making such a claim that is easily back fired.

At this point my eyes are back on Saedyeon and his eyes are on me. We look each other up and down, almost admiring each other.

"Saedyeon," i smirk, "Come."

Everyone eyes me oddly as the giant bear crawls on all fours, my way.

I step in front of Seok, who was trying to hold me back. I never break eye contact with the bear.

When he reaches me we both have very plain expressions. I put my hand out to him, and everyone watches eagerly.

Kennedy seems almost scared, worried that Saedyeon might hurt me, because, well he is a bear.

I am curious as to why he is so quick too like me when I've only said 5 words to him, but i decide not to over think it, i keep my eyes on the bear.

Saedyeon breaks the eye contact and he looks at my hand curiously. He sniffs it once. Twice. Three quick sniffs.

He looks back at me, then he lowers his head, looking at the floor, closing his eyes.

"B-but how?" Kennedy squirms, "Even as his mystical, he never even slightly tilts his head to me?"

"Well Kennedy, why do you think that he wouldn't to me? We are two of the different." I say petting Saedyeons head.

"Saedyeon, come." Kennedy calls him back.

I remove my hand from the bears soft fur coat and it takes him a few seconds to respond to Kennedy's order.

Seoks worry falls over me.

How could you risk it?

Especially being pregnant!

You're a stubborn girl, nani!

I can practically hear his voice in my ears as he wraps an arm around my waist.

"Please," Kennedy smiles in amazement, "Call me Kenny."
