Ep.14

Learning about Seoks past with his brother made me angry.

Ma, Joshua, Kimberlie, and Seok didn't deserve that life.

But what hurts me more is how easily it was all forgotten.

I try to push the though aside as we drive home in silence. Seok knows im upset and didn't expect their backgrounds to be so depressing.

My background wasn't very happy either, but i would've thought his was because of how perfect hos life seemed to be before me.

"Right?" Seok asks.

It is only now that i realize that he was talking to me.

"Huh? Sorry what was that Oppa?" 

"Your doctors appointment?"

I don't remember anything about a doctors appointment so i eye him curiously.

"For the pregnancy? To check on the baby?"

"Oh yeah!" My eyes widen.

He laughs at me and puts his hand on my thigh, "Your crazy jagi."

"I know." I sigh.

"So It starts at 5:30 and its 2:10 right now, so we'll have time to relax at home first." He squeezes my thigh slightly.

'Relax."

What a joke.

I sit in the living room and watch some TV. Seok is in the shower getting ready to go.

I'm already ready, except my hair is still wet from the bath i took earlier.

Thoughts run through my mind. Questions of Seoks siblings.

Where is Kimberlie?

Is she alive?

Where did Kenny go when they sent him away?

Why is he suddenly back?

How did he find Saedyeon?

"Nani?" I hear Seoks voice coming from the hall way.

I turn my head to see him walking down the hall towards me, wearing only a towel around his waist.

"Yes?" I smile at him.

"Maybe we should take Eon with us." he shrugs, "We don't know if he is going to be there."  He combs through his hair.

"Well," i sigh, "We could always go over and check. I doubt that he is there. If he is, she will come with us."

"Okay." he nods.

"Seokie?" I say as he turns to leave.

"How did he find Saedyeon?" I ask curiously as he turns back towards me.

"Why are you so interested in his familiar?" He sounds disgusted, and i can tell he is.

"Im interested in a large bear, not in anyone's familiar. I-i just i am very curious about him." I tell the truth.

He just nods and looks down, "Why don't you ask him?"

He turns and walks away, leaving me shocked and confused.

What's happening?

Knock, knock.

"Hey!" Joshua answers the door.

Like always Eon jumps up and gives him a hug, we go inside, and all is swell.

Except the fact that me and Seok aren't speaking.

He is jealous, for no reason.

He would be able to tell if i felt the slightest interest in Kenny, but i don't!

I was in awe of Saedyeon, maybe he mixed up my feelings?

"Nani?"

"Huh?" I look of from where im sitting on the couch to see Seok.

"I'm sorry," he grabs my hand and kneels in front of me, "I know that you don't look at him that way, and i don't know why i got so angry."

"Its fine Oppa."

"But its not Nani, i accused you of something that i know you didn't do, or think, you know what i mean."

"Seokyeon, its fine." I smile at him.

He nods his head and kisses my hand.

"Don't you guys have to get to the doctors?" Ma asks.

We stand up and nod.

"It starts in an hour, but we should be early just in case." Seok smiles and puts his arm around me.

"Okay, be careful, let us know how everything goes." Ma hugs us both.

"Drive careful son." Joshua hugs us one at a time, "And be careful of my grand baby."

"I will." He smiles.

"Bye eomma!" Eon jumps in my arms and give me a hug.

"Ill see you when we get back. Be good for grandma and grandpa, ladybug."

"I will be! By appa!" She hugs Seok now.

Seoks eyes close when a large smile appears across his face, "Bye onie."

This is the first time she's called him dad.

It wasn't easy for her to move from one dad to another, because she loves them both and misses Leo.

"Hello, we have an appointment for Lee Nani." Seok talks to the women at the window in the office.

"Lee Nani," she says as she types on her computer, "At 5:30?"

"Yes." I answer.

We are only 17 minutes early so maybe they could get us in a little earlier.

"Please have a seat, Dr. Jung will come get you when he's ready." She tells us.

"Thank you." I smile.

We go and sit down.

It takes no more than ten minutes for the doctor to come get us.

He is a short man with black hair with small specks of silver in it. He can be no younger than 50.

He has almond brown eyes and a mole on the left side of his forehead. He is very kind and tells a joke every once in a while.

He takes back to a small room in the back. He takes some measurements, my height, weight, blood pressure the usual.

This time though, he does an ultra sound to check on the baby's growth.

"Everything's normal," he smiles, "You're both health as a bean."

Me and Seok both laugh.

"Thanks doctor."

"But i would like you to come in again next month for another check up, is May 23rd ok?" He asks.

"Uh, we have graduation that day." Seok tells him.

"Oh, well what about the 17th? Would that work?"

"Yes, that would be perfect." We both smile.
