I was angry. How could my mom do that to our family. What were they going to tell Vivian. She was only six years old so she wouldn't understand. I didn't know what was going to happen. Would my dad, Vivian and I go somewhere else? Would my mom move in with her boss. We could barely afford the house payments with my moms paycheck too. Let alone just his. I took my hand away from my mom and went over to my dad. He'd always been there for me. When I was in fourth grade we had a basketball game during gym class, I fell and broke my arm after jumping to get the ball in the hoop. My mom was at work and didn't want to leave, but my dad came as soon as he heard I was hurt. He was the one in the emergency room holding my hand and telling me it was going to be okay. He was the one who would help me with my homework and he still does to this day. How could my mom do this to him. To us.

"I love you dad."
"I love you too pumpkin."

The rest of the night I stayed locked away in my room only to leave when I needed to use the bathroom or I was hungry. I watched romance movies on Netflix and didn't tell anyone what happened.

The next day was much harder. My mom usually woke up and made breakfast then got Viv ready for school. She had left the night before and went to her bosses. I had to wake up earlier to help my sister and make food. I left for school with no makeup wearing shorts and a purple hoodie from Hershey Park. I didn't text anyone that morning. When I got to school I went straight to my class and left Noah and Court in the lunch room. I don't know why I was taking this so hard. I guess I do but I can live with my parents being divorced. The ones I looked up to the most for having a good marriage, their spark never left. They loved each other. I just couldn't comprehend what was going on. After forth period instead of going to study hall I signed myself out secretly and left the building. I walked to my car and got lost in my thoughts.
