Lust and Lies

Vivian

Kristen's pov

My heart dropped. My mom needed surgery.
"Babe everything is fine just get here ASAP."
"Okay." I said slowly. I hung up and processed everything.

Vivian's pov

Hope and I were reading magazines on her bed when her mom came upstairs into her room.

"Viv honey your sister is on her way to pick you up."
I looked at her tilting my head.
"She isn't supposed to come until 5:30"
"Well things changed honey, but you know you're welcome here anytime. I just think you should be home now. Just get your things ready and both of you come down when you're done."
I sighed. "Okay"

I watched as she turned around and walked down the small hallway leading to the stairs. I looked over to Hope who had a sad face.

"Maybe you can come after school."
"Maybe." I said getting off the bed and packing up my clothes.

I walked downstairs and waited in the living room for Kristen to get here. Hope and I watched Disney channel while we waited.
After a few minutes I heard a knock at the door and turned my head. Kristen was as the door and she wiped a tear from her face, I then saw Carla give her a hug. I wondered what was wrong. I got up and went to the door.

"Hi pumpkin! Did you have fun? She asked giving me a hug.
"Yes!"

We eventually went to the car and I climbed in the back. Kristen's car was so messy. She had a whole bunch of school books and papers scattered around her backseat and a few coffee cups from Dunkin.

"Can you turn on some music?" I asked
"Uh yeah." Kris said turning up the volume and flipping through the stations to find a song we liked.

We were jamming out to the radio when suddenly we passed our street.

"Um Kristen we just passed the house are you stupid?"
She turned the radio down.
"Listen baby. Mom got into a small car accident and we're just going to check on her. She should be fine but I wanted you to go."
"Oh okay as long as she's going to be okay. Is that why you were crying?"
"Yeah it is I didn't think you saw that."
"Can you turn the music up now." I asked changing the subject.

She did as told and we sang a little I wasn't worried, mom probably just had a few scratches. It would be fine.

Richards Pov

I was sitting in a chair in the lounge waiting for someone to come with information. Kristen would be here soon and everything would be fine. A few minutes later Kristen's dad Andrew came in the door with who I'm assuming was Mike.

"How is she is everything okay? Where is Kristen?"
"She's not here yet and I haven't heard anything so far." I motioned to a few chairs.

After about fifteen minutes Kristen came in with Vivian. I stood up and hugged her along with Viv. Vivian ran over to Andrew and gave him a big hug. That's when I noticed he was looking at us weird. Shit. He probably saw the hug and started getting curious. Kristen sat next to me and we didn't speak much, none of us did. It was awkward silence. A nurse then came up to us with a worried expression.
