Noah's pov

Only four hours had passed and we were all sitting in the waiting room. Waiting for something to happen. It seemed as if the world stopped. My mom was shaking and couldn't keep her eyes off the door. Jerrah was crying in the corner and Kristen and I sat next to each other hand in hand. All we did was wait. We sometimes went to the cafeteria and drank coffee or ate some chips. We didn't have much of an appetite. It was about 7:30PM and Jayla came to comfort Jerrah. Jayla was a very good friend. They left soon after and went to the janitors closet. I could understand why, to flee the hospital scene. I really hoped my dad would made it. They said he had liver cancer but I didn't know why they were doing a full transplant. I didn't ask mom about it though I knew it would upset her even more. It was going to take about ten hours because they had to give him anesthesia for a few hours before. Kristen and I didn't really want to stay the entire time, he would probably be out around 1 if all goes as planned. Kristen had school the next morning but wasn't going to go. She didn't want to stay here though. I wanted to discuss baby things with whet to get my mind off everything. I whispered in her ear.

"Can we go to the cafeteria to talk?"
"Sure."

We got up and started walking. I held her close and kissed her on the head. My life was full. It really was. I just hoped my dad would be here to witness the birth of his first grandchild. When we arrived at the cafeteria we bought a small salad to share since we were both hungry.

"So what did you want to talk about?" Kristen asked then putting salad in her mouth.
"The baby." I smiled
"Okay well let's talk."
"Alright we need to tell your dad and then we need to find a place to stay. I don't want to be too far away I think we need something temporary for now until we get our lives figured out." I said
"Yeah and we both need to get stable jobs this is going to be hard. I mean we're still technically teenagers and we can't do this without steady income. Plus having a baby itself is a lot of money." She said quietly
"I just recently applied for the Japanese restaurant to be a waiter, that pays somewhat good. I mean you could get a job at that burger shop or one of the little stores downtown." I said taking some bites out of the salad.
"Okay so when everything is over and your dad is recovering we need to sit down and talk money and budget. But for now, let's talk names." She said with a smirk.
"Okay what names to you like?"
"I like Anastasia or Blake."
"I really like Anastasia. That's very beautiful.

After about an hour we finally settled on some names and the gender would decide the rest.
