Richard's pov

"Weed? Isn't that illegal in Florida?" She said with that cute smile I love and the way she tilts her head to the side when she's confused.
"Well yeah but no one has to know. Everyone on this block does it."
"Oh. Okay. Do you have some?"
"Yeah come here."

I led her to the stairs and opened up the bottom stair revealing three rolled blunts, some wraps, and some weed in bags.

"Woah. Does mom know?"
"No and she isn't gonna know. She'd flip out. Have you ever smoked before?
"Noah and I did once, but I only took one hit."
"Oh, well then come on."

We went upstairs and out to the balcony. I grabbed a lighter out of my pocket and handed it to Kristen. She lit it and took a few puffs then handed it to me. After about forty minutes we went through three small blunts. She was hurt but it's was adorable. She kept mumbling nonsense to me and I couldn't help but laugh. I left the balcony and entered my room to grab a blanket and pillows. I went back to her and she was looking up at the stars crying. I dropped the blankets and put my arm around her.

"Baby what's wrong?"
"I don't know I just don't want to keep my love for you a secret!" She cried.

I hugged her tightly and wiped her tears.

"When Avery gets back I'll talk to her and break everything off, you're about to graduate anyways so you can move in here."
"Okay." She said softly.

I spread out the blanket I had and propped the pillow up against the house, I laid down and she cuddled against me. I never wanted to let her go. That night we fell asleep looking at the starts wrapped around each other. It was that night I realized Kristen Nicole Mills was the women I wanted to marry.

The next morning I woke up and Kristen wasn't on the balcony. I cleaned up everything and put it inside. I walked downstairs and turned the corner, inside the kitchen was Kristen pouring coffee in a small white cup. She was wearing one of my night shirts, she looked so good in them. I walked up to her and hugged her from behind. I gave her a kiss on her cheek.

"How'd you sleep babygirl?" I asked as she sipped her coffee.
"Good, one of the best nights sleep I've had in a while, you?" She said opening the fridge and grabbing out a pack of bacon.
"I slept good, my back kind of hurts though." I said grabbing a pack of eggs and placing them on the counter next to the stove.

She started to cook the bacon and eggs while I made the waffle mix and poured the runny liquid into the iron. While they were cooking I set the table. After a few minutes the bacon was done and so were the eggs. She put them on the plates and I put two small waffles on each. We went to the dining room and took our seats. After a few minutes of eating Kris spoke up.

"So tomorrow night mom gets back, so I think we should tell her then over dinner. Everyone could come including my dad and Vivian."
"Does Vivian even know about the divorce?"
"Yeah my dad told her over dinner a few nights ago."
"Oh okay. Where do you want to go to dinner?"
"I'm not sure nothing too fancy because people will probably end up walking out without paying." She said rolling her eyes.
"True."

The rest of breakfast we talked about what we would say, we came to an agreement we would just go with the flow.
