Ultrasound

Time hop - four weeks. Kristen is now 6 weeks pregnant and Kurtis is home from surgery.

Kristen's pov

Today was my first ultrasound. We would find out the potential due date and see the baby. I've been taking really good care of my body and watching what I do and eat. We still haven't told my mom or dad yet. I wasn't showing that much it just looked like I'd been eating good. We were going to be graduating in two weeks! I was so excited. My dad was at Mike's house most of the time. I hadn't really seen him often. My dad hasn't came out to anyone officially yet. Him begging gone meant I had to take care of Vivian all the time when she wasn't staying at my moms. Today she was at Hope's.

I cleaned up the house a little bit before I started getting ready. When I was done I went back to my room and brushed my hair. I then put on a little mascara and took of my clothes. I then put on a red shirt and black pants. I put on my shoes and sat on the couch waiting for Noah to pick me up. When he arrived we drove to the hospital and got checked in. When we finally got called into the room we all talked for a few minutes then I laid on the bed and the doctor spread the ultrasound gel over my stomach. She moved the probe all over to get some pictures. I watched in amazement. Noah grabbed my hand and kissed me on the forehead. When I saw the tiny alien looking figure moving around my heart melted. Everything started to hit me. I was having a baby. I was becoming a mother. Noah and I were going to be parents to a beautiful child.

Toward the end of the ultrasound we learned the due date, January 7th 2019. It seemed so close yet so far away. I was very excited. When we got into the car Noah starred at me with a bug smile holding the ultrasound pictures.

"We made this." He said joyful
"I know." I said smiling back and kissing him.

We pulled out of the parking lot and went to the mall around the corner. We walked in and looked around a few shops. While walking down one of the large halls he stopped in front of an infant store.

"Should we go in?" He asked.
"Sure." I said pulling him inside the small shop.

There was racks of clothes and shoes in the front then towards the back was small baby toys and other necessities. On the right side of the store was girls and the left was boys, then somewhat in the middle was gender neutral. We browsed the store and I started looking at some cute yellow outfits.

"Is it too early to buy some things?" I asked Noah while the was looking at baby shoes.
"No not at all we shouldn't get a whole bunch of stuff but just a few things here and there before we find out the gender."
"Okay." I smiled.

We spent about an hour inside the store and bought a few clothes and shoes. Nothing major of course.
