Richards pov

I carefully opened my eyes and Andrew was standing in the doorway. His mouth was open and his eyes widened.

"What the fuck you two?" As he spoke Kristen pulled away quickly.
"Dad! This isn't-what do you want."
"What is going on here?" He screamed.
"You weren't supposed to find out this way!" Kristen cried.
"How was I supposed to find out?
"Tonight at the Mexican restaurant everyone was doing and we were going to tell you. Dad just sit down." Kristen said as she motioned to the nearby bench.

Kristen's pov

I sat on the bench and took a deep breath in and out.

"Rich and I have been dating for a while now, we fell in love. Mom is cheating on him so it doesn't really matter. I can't help how I feel."
"You shouldn't be with him are you crazy? He's 10 years older than you!"
"It's just a number."
"You cannot date him that's not right."
"And you being gay is?"
"That's different don't bring Mike into this."
"Oh shut up dad it's fine I'm with Rich, I love him more than I've loved ever before. He's my everything. Plus he's great in bed."
"Okay that is enough young lady, you're not going to continue to date him. I'm sorry he is 28 you are 18."
"And if I keep dating him?"
"Oh it's simple, you're moving out and you have to pay for your car alone."

I rolled my eyes and stood up facing Rich. I grabbed his face and pushed our lips together.

"That's enough Kristen."
"Oh well maybe you should walk in on us having sex."
"Okay I didn't know you were home that's why Mike and I were doing those things, that is none of your business anyways."

"Kristen calm down." Rich said softly
"Babe I love you so much, I will never stop loving you. I will love you until my last breath."
"It's okay baby." he whispered.

My father then walked back in the hospital. I watched as he walked down the hallway and into the waiting room. I felt a vibration in my pants and pulled out my phone. It was a call from Noah. Shit I forgot to tell him dinner was off.

"Hey Kris I'm at the restaurant where are you?"
"Hey Noah I cant come. Mom got into a really bad accident and she's getting surgery right now, sorry I forgot to tell you."
"Oh no problem it's totally fine. She's in my prayers."
"Thanks Noah."

I hung up and faced Rich who was brushing a tear off his cheek.

"Baby what's wrong?"
"I don't want to divide you and your family."
"No it's okay baby they just don't understand."
"No, you don't understand. Family comes first and you need to go in there and fix everything with your father because one day he won't be here. When your mom finds out she will be devastated. Kristen's love you but I don't know if I can let you hurt your family like that."
"When did you fucking care before!" I screamed.
