The next day was a free day so we really could do anything, but an interview was scheduled for one o'clock.
I got up at nine, but I was in my bunk. 'Huh, Patrick must've put me here last night.' I thought, but then became sad because I like Patrick's warmth. I changed into a white ripped tank top and ripped black jeans, laced up some maroon boots, and slipped on my red leather jacket before grabbing my paper boy hat and walking out
The interview was okay, but one question was brought up that shocked the guys.
"When was your first kiss and who was it?" The question was. I instantly got nervous. To be honest, aside from family, I had never been kissed by someone else, yes, I've kissed people on the cheek myself, but nobody ever kissed me.
The guys had all said their answers and were waiting for me. I tripped over my words.
"I-I've never been kissed before." I mumbled. The guys and the interviewer, even Meredith who was standing to the side looked shocked. "But, how? Weren't you the talk of the school growing up?" Pete asked. "Oh heavens no, I was really quiet back then. I had, like, five people I considered my friends." I said.
When we finished the interview Patrick still looked shocked. I looked at him with concern "You okay?" I whispered. He broke out of his trance and nodded.
We got on the bus and gathered in the living area,. "So who's doing what?" Pete yelled. I winced. "Meredith and I are gonna go eat." Andy said. Pete looked at Patrick with this discreet look that only a few could see. I was one of those few. "Patrick?" he asked. "Uh, Ashton and I are gonna go walk around." He said quietly. Pete nodded with a smirk. "Joe and I are gonna go see how good the pizza is here. Be back at eight, we're going to a hotel tonight!" He exclaimed before running off the bus with Joe at his side.
Andy and Meredith looked at us. "Have fun on your date, you two." Andy smiled. I groaned. "See ya!" Meredith exclaimed before they walked off the bus, leaving Patrick and I there. He turned to me. "You wanna walk around and then find a place to eat?" He asked kindly. "Sure." I smiled before walking out of the bus and onto the bustling streets of Omaha.
We walked around for some time, going into shops and looking around. I found a vintage book store and really wanted to go in. Patrick smiled at my happiness and let me go in. After looking around for sometime I found an original copy of Little House on the Prairie and bought it, it cost forty dollars, worth it. Patrick saw a red phone both and walked inside, I took some pictures before trading places with Patrick. I then called my mom and told her what we were doing, and Patrick said hello.
Around five o'clock I was getting a little bit hungry and so was Patrick, so we looked around for some restreraunts, and stumbled upon a place called Jazz. We walked in and were hit with the smell of Louisiana cooking and the sound of live jazz.
We placed our orders and just talked.
"So, you've never been kissed before?" He asked genuinely. "Yeah, I wasn't really looking for relationships either back then, so I guess it serves me right." I explained. Patrick tilted his head. "Why weren't you looking for a relationship?" He asked. "I focused on school and kept it that way until I graduated, and even then, I didn't want a relationship because I wanted to start a career in music and I thought someone would just make the process slower." I said. "Not even the guys from your band?" He laughed. "No, Liam and Kaleb were married and Sean had a girlfriend, now wife." I explained before taking a sip of my drink. "Huh, we may have to change that." He said subtly. I didn't even realize what he meant until a minute later, and my cheeks heated up. "Smooth Stump." I muttered before rolling my eyes. "I try." He beamed. We ate and started walking back to the bus. On the way we stopped for ice cream and Patrick paid despite my best wishes. I got cherry ice cream while Patrick got basic chocolate. "What? I like being simple." He said when we left the ice cream shop. I laughed way too hard. We walked back and somewhere along those lines Patrick had grabbed my hand and held it gently, I liked it so much, I didn't even notice. We stopped to sit down on a bench near the bus and Patrick turned to me and laughed. "What?" I asked. "You have ice cream on your nose, here, let me get it." He said, and before I could do anything he swiped the drippy liquid off my nose with his finger and licked it off. "That's pretty good." He said. I laughed. It was seven, so we had about an hour still before we left for the hotel. We discarded the trash from our ice cream in a nearby trash can and Patrick broke the silence.
"Wanna go on the bus and cuddle?" He asked cutely. I blushed and said yes. We walked onto the bus and I went to go change out of my day clothes. I changed into a warm sweat shirt that reached down to my knees, a blank knit beanie with cat ears, and some leggings before walking out and onto the couch. Patrick went in to change after me and I got some blankets out and retrieved my own laptop and pulled up some movies on Netflix. Patrick came back out and smiled at the sight of me. He lifted up the blankets and slid underneath. "You look really cute like this." He said sweetly before fiddling with my cat ears. I blushed and laughed. "Thanks Patrick. Now, what movie do we wanna watch?" I asked. He looked at my selection. His eyes widened and clicked on a movie himself. I laughed. "Ghostbusters it is!" I exclaimed before cuddling into his side and watching the movie.

Fun fact: I've actually been to Omaha and those things happened with me.
