*about a month later, I think*

We had decided that we'd all meet up at the art museum and then drive to Patrick's house, so it was easier for me.
I woke up at five and got ready, I took a shower then packed my toiletries. The plan was to stay an entire week up at Patrick's to work out tour stuff and music before I would go home for two weeks before tour actually started. I ate breakfast and loaded my suitcase and three guitars into the car. One acoustic, the others electric. They told me not to bring my guitars and that they had enough, but I was gonna bring mine anyways.
I locked my house and pulled out of my driveway and onto the main road, then to the highway.
Chicago, here I come.

After about four hours, I had finally made it to the suburbs of Chicago. I smiled at the passing buildings. I had come to Chicago so much as a kid, and a few times when I toured alone. It was an okay city, not including the death rate. (IM SORRY TO ANYONE WHO LIVES IN CHICAGO) I finally got to the main city and took a detour to avoid all the traffic. I eventually found a place to park my car near the museum and got out. I looked at this place in awe. It was huge, but granted I had already been here before, it still amazed me. I sat on a bench outside and texted Patrick.

Acorn: Where is u??

Patty: Oh! I'm sorry, we changed the location. Go to the back of the building, there's a little park. We changed last minute. I is sorry.

Acorn: Nah, that's fine. C ya in a bit

I put my phone away in my jacket and got up. I walked to the back of the building and sure enough, there was a small park. I looked around and saw the guys hanging around, waiting for me. I smiled and walked over.
Pete was the first one to catch sight of me.
"AJ!" He yelled before darting around Joe, who was talking to him, and running and gripping me in a tight hug and swinging me around. I laughed. The other guys came over and hugged me as well when Pete was done with his fun. "It's so nice to meet you in person." Andy smiled. "I know! It's surreal." I beamed. "Well, I think I'm ready to go." Said Patrick. "I'll go with AJ since she doesn't know how to get to my place, and I'm assuming you drove." Patrick said, turning to me. I nodded. "See ya there." Joe said before heading off with Pete at his side, they probably came together since they both live in LA. Andy walked along side Patrick and I. He came with Patrick so he would drive his car to his house.
I unlocked my car and got in. I started up my car and my Fall Out Boy playlist came on. Patrick just laughed. "Listening to your own band, eh?" Patrick teased. "Nah, they suck, just wanted to ridicule them on my way up. Of course!" I said sarcastically.
The rest of the drive was just listening and singing along to our own music, cheeky, I know.

We got to Patricks house and I was amazed. It was a tall white and black house and when I walked in it was spotless.
"Holy damn." I said, standing there shocked. "Yeah, I still wonder how he keeps it so clean." Pete said, jumping out of nowhere, which scared me. Pete just laughed at me. "C'mon, the studio is down here." He said before leading me down a flight of stairs.
I set one foot on the wooden floor and was agape. Guitars and basses of all sorts lined the walls, different types of amps sitting beneath them. Three drum sets sat in the corner, one electronic and one upright piano, several different types of mics, and some other instruments.
"My god." I whispered. All the guys were smiling, especially Patrick.
"You ready to jam?" Joe asked, breaking the awed silence. "Yeah, just let me grab my guitar." I said, and before anyone could decline, I ran back up the stairs and to my car and got out my guitar.
I walked downstairs and set the case on the ground and opened it while the boys were setting up mics and such. I opened it and started to set it up. It's a red EVH brand guitar with black and white stripes going every which way. I slung my guitar over my head and walked towards the boys. Patrick stopped setting up his amp and looked at my guitar in awe. Pete and Joe also noticed, then Andy. "Holy shit. That guitar is beautiful." Joe said.
I smiled. "Custom made EVH, made a little over a year ago." I said while plugging in my guitar to an amp Pete gave me. "How many guitars do you have?" Andy asked from behind his cymbals. "Eight electric, two acoustic. I also have four basses and one ukulele." I listed on my fingers. "Wow." Patrick whispered.
"A ukulele?" Pete questioned, half laughing. "My d-cousin, she loves it when I play it. She also loves you guys. Her favorite song is Grand Theft Autumn." I explained. "Ah, she must be happy you're here." Patrick smiled. "Oh she doesn't. Her first concert is on this tour, I convinced my mom to take her. She's gonna flip when she sees me on stage." I smile while thinking about it. The guys looked confused. "Do your parents know? Your family?" Andy asked. "My parents know, nobody else." I said. "I was gonna say!" Pete sighed.
"Well enough chit-chat, how 'bout we jam?" I asked. "Awwwww yeah." Joe smiled. "What first?" Patrick asked. "G.I.N.A.S.F.S." I smiled. Andy counted off and we started jamming.
