Finally, the show in my home state was today. I was beyond ecstatic on the ride over.
"So, my d-cousin Allie who's eight is coming tonight." I said while sitting by everyone in the living area. "That's cool, who's taking her?" Meredith asked. "My mom." I stated before looking at Joe and Andy who were sitting on the floor on front of the TV playing video games. "So don't fuck this up." I said, looking at Pete. "What?" He asked innocently. "No cursing in between songs, I mean it." I instructed. "Fine." Pete drug out the I. "Does this mean I sensor everything?" Patrick asked. "No, keep it as it is. She know's the songs with or without swearing in them. Just she's never heard the words outside of songs." I said. He nodded. When we got to the venue I was the first off the bus. I ran to the arena and ran inside Panic!s room.
"HOME SHOW BITCHES!" I yelled. "SWEET!" Brendon yelled. "Also Allie's in the crowd so be fucking polite." I said to Brendon. Dallon, Kenny, and Dan looked confused. "Yes ma'am." Brendon said before saluting. I laughed before running out of their room and down the hall to my own.
Meredith was waiting there with Elliot, our photographer. "Want a picture for insta?" He asked. "Of fucking course." I said. I smiled as he shot the picture. Then a loud voice over the intercom came on. "Panic! in ten." It said. I stuck my head out into the hall. "DON'T FUCK THIS UP OR I'M GONNA KILL YOU URIE!" I yelled. I heard a faint 'okay' from down the hall and I ducked back into my room. Meredith chuckled as I walked over to my wardrobe box. "What?" I asked as I pulled out a maroon backless tank top. "You really care about Allie, don't you?" She asked. I sighed before discarding the top I was currently wearing and slid the tank over my head. "She's like my daughter, I want the best." I said before pulling out a pair of ripped skinny jeans. I slid off my jeans and pulling on the other jeans on. "Is she coming back here afterwards?" She asked. "I bought her and my mom the most expensive ticket packets, so yeah." I smiled before pulling out some three inch ankle boots and lacing them. I stood up and Meredith looked shocked. "You're gonna be taller than Patrick!" She exclaimed. "Good." I stated before grabbing some eyeliner and lipstick, doing a simple wing and a dark red lip. I threw those things back in my wardrobe before strutting out of the room and down the hall. I went to side stage and Panic! was almost to the end of Bohemian Rhapsody, two more songs before I'd go on. Somebody in the crew came over and put my earpieces in and somebody else handed me my guitar. I slipped the instrument over my head as Patrick came up to me. "Do you wanna sing Autumn alone since it's Allie's favorite?" He asked politely. "Sure." I smiled before he returned the gesture and ran away, I turned the other way as Dallon came off stage.
"Good luck Ashtray." He smirked. "Go shower Lamp Post." I spat. The lights went down and we all ran on stage. The crowd roared as Joe started the opening for Sugar. I smiled before as the lights came up and we started my home show.
When it was time for Autumn the lights went down except for a spot light on Pete.
"So, from what I understand, this is AJ's home show and her eight year old cousin Allie is here at a her first concert, so AJ's going to play Autumn by herself for her little cousin." Pete smiled as I got set on a stool in the middle of the runway.
"This is for Allie, my little girl. I love you hun." I smiled before going into the song that she loved so much.Patrick's POV
She was beautiful, there on the runway. The fans had turned on their lights and were swaying them back and forth which made her gleam in the spotlight. She looked like an angel, I could practically see her halo. She finished the song and gave her guitar to a crew member before reaching into the crowd and picking up someone. This tiny girl with wavy ginger hair was on the stage and Ashton was holding on to her like the little girl was her life line. She then spoke into the mic.
"Everyone, this is Allie. Can you say hi?" She asked Allie. "Hi!" The little girl cooed. The crowd screamed. Ashton set down Allie and gave her a hug and a kiss on the head before she gently lowered her back into the crowd.
Ashton then sprinted across the runway so we could start the next song with a smile on her face.Ashton's POV
After the show I practically sprinted off the stage, giving a crew member my earpieces and guitar. I ran back to my room and quickly stripped and hopped in the shower. I came out only five minutes later and changed into a white jumper, black leggings, and some converse. I packed everything up and wheeled it into the hall like I was instructed to do a few months ago and ran around in the halls. I asked one of the staff where the VIP members were being let in and the said down the hall and to the right. I bolted down the hallway. I quickly came upon the door that was labeled 'VIP ENTRANCE' and a timestamp that said 9:30 I checked my phone. 9:20. I groaned, I still had time to kill. I wandered to Panic!s room and barged in because I'm going to be honest, why knock if I've seen the guys changing? What could be worse?
I walked in and saw Brendon jumping around like he was high, which he probably was.
"Ashy that was so cool!" Brendon squealed. I smiled. "It's just a guitar and voice, what's cool about that?" I asked. "You sounded pretty, that's what he's trying to say." Sarah piped in. "Ah." I said. I checked my phone. Five minutes. "You wanna see her don't you?" Dan spoke. "Yeah, I haven't had a real conversation with Allie in forever." I said while rubbing my temples.
"The VIP door is now open." The loudspeaker said. I bolted out of their room without a goodbye and ran towards the door to see my mom and my little girl. Allie instantly brightened as she saw me.
"Mommy! You were good!" She cheered as I picked her up. "Thanks hun, did you like Autumn?" I asked.
"Yes!" She smiled cutely. I kissed her forehead before setting her down and holding her hand and talking to my mom.
"That was amazing Ashton." She commented. "Thanks mom." I said before looking down at Allie. "You wanna go say hi to Dally and Bren?" I asked her. "Yeah!" She clapped. I picked her up and set her on my shoulders before walking to Panic!s room.
"Tiny child has arrived!" I announced. Dallon was the first to Allie and lifted her above his head. She giggled as Dallon made her feel like an airplane. What I didn't realize though, was that Patrick was in the room.
It was Brendon's turn to hold Allie when Patrick started talking to me.
"She looks a lot like you." He muttered. I whipped around and looked at Patrick really shocked. "I did not know you were in here." I breathed. He just looked confused.
After Brendon and Dallon were done I picked up Allie and took her to the boys' room. I walked in and instantly the guys were alert. Pete was the first to get to her. "It's a tiny child!" He exclaimed. I smiled. "Allie this is Pete, can you say hi?" I asked. She buried her face in my neck. Pete frowned. "She's shy, this is the same thing that happened when she met Panic!" I exclaimed. Andy, Joe, and Meredith then came over from where they were sitting to talk to Allie.
"Hun, it's okay, these are mommy's friends." I whispered in her ear. She looked up and around at all the faces and then reached out for Andy. I looked at Andy as if I were asking if he wanted to hold her and he nodded.
I gave him Allie and she giggled.
"Ink!" She giggled, pointing at Andy's arms. I smiled. They all took turns holding her and she liked Patrick more than Andy. The sight of my little girl and, what ever Patrick was to me, was adorable. I had to turn around because I was blushing so much. Patrick handed Allie to me and instantly she looked tired. "Can you say goodbye?" I asked her. "Bye bye." She yawned.
I walked out of the room with Patrick and looked at my mom. "I guess it's time to go." I said. She nodded. We started out the back door when I realized Patrick was still following us. I turned to Patrick and asked my mom to take Allie to the car and that I'll be there in a bit. She complied and took Allie from me.
I turned to Patrick who looked a little pissed but still confused. "I bet you have some questions, and so do the guys." I said. "Be damned if I didn't." He snarled. Jesus, he was furious. "I'll answer them later, but please let me be alone with my mom and Allie and go on the bus." I pleaded. He looked down in thought and then looked up. "Fine." He hissed before walking off.
I sighed and walked to my mom's car where Allie was sitting in her car seat.
I leaned in and kissed her forehead. "Mommy, can you sing Lullabye?" She asked. I nodded before singing the sweet song that lulled her to sleep.
I kissed her forehead again before quietly shutting the car door. I walked around and hugged my mom. "Take care of her, please? Don't let Audrey take her?" I pleaded into my moms shoulder. "I'll see what I can do." She said before kissing my head and jumping into the drivers seat. I stepped to the side and waved as she started the car and drove away. This is 759 words more than I'd like but oh well, extra long boi
