It's Not a Side Effect of the Cocaine, I Am Thinking It Must Be Love

The first few shows were fine, yes I was a bit more tired than usual, but I was still on my feet and having fun. I could see the guys and Meredith being a little bit concerned for me, but I told them I'd be fine. I do admit, on the fourth night of playing for Kenny I went to bed as soon as I climbed on the bus, and when I woke up it was one o'clock, I had even woken up after Patrick. That sent them into pure worry because nobody wakes up after Patrick. Ever.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Patrick asked me as we got off the bus on the eighth day of filling in for Kenny. "For the final time, yes Patrick. You don't need to fret over me all the time." I rolled my eyes. "I just worry." He mumbled. It was the cutest thing. Wait, what? I brushed off the feeling and wheeled my things inside.

Patrick' POV

I really worry about her. She went to bed early and woke up really late and that's not normal for her. "Are you sure you're okay?" I asked her. She rolled her eyes and said yes. "I just worry." I said. I really care about her, too much maybe. She's just so nice and pretty.
When we got to into the venue she immedatley had to get dressed. I missed her talking and laughing with us before she had to get dressed for our set, but now she has to dress immediately because of Panic!'s set. Yes, I admit it, I have a small crush on AJ Pines. Just, she's so nice and fun, and very pretty despite not thinking so. I just wish she felt the same.

AJ's POV

I chose a long black jacket that looked like a marching uniform with some striped leggings and boots. Sarah did some eyeliner, as per usual, and a black lip by request. I thanked her, grabbed my guitar and ran towards stage, but not before being pulled back by a passerby. I lurched back and looked at the face, it was Patrick. "Are you sure?" He asked, with the upmost concern written all over his face. I yanked my wrist out of his grip. "Yes, now stop worrying!" I hissed before continuing my run to the stage. I got there and the shots were being distributed. "Sorry I'm late, Patrick wanted to talk." I breathed before grabbing my glass. Brendon smirked. "Lovebirds." He said. I looked at him, surprised. "We are not lovebirds." I said, holding my head high. "Whatever." Brendon shrugged. "TO SPACE AND BACK!" Dallon yelled out of no where. "Jesus, to space and back!" I repeated before gulping the cool liquid and going to my side of the stage and started the show.

Things continued like that. Arrive, dress, shots, set, five minute break, set, undress, sleep. An endless cycle that I didn't like too much. It was four days later on the twelfth day that things went to shit. They said Kenny could play tomorrow so that was good, but my day started on the wrong foot. Someone woke me up immediately when we got to the venue and not a half hour before the first set. I was already awake so I had to stay up, I just laid in my bunk, staring at the wooden panel above me. When I did get up and looked in my clothing box, some things were missing, so that was fun. I settled on a long sleeved black and white striped shirt with thumb holes, a leather jacket for the first set, ripped black jeans and converse of the same color. Subtle eyeliner was done by Sarah, I thanked her as always, and went to stage. "One last time Ash." Dallon said. "Hopefully." I sighed. "To Ashton!" Brendon yelled. I glared at him while Dallon and Dan repeated the phrase and chugged their drinks. I did the same with mine and went to stage.
I played the set as usual and took off my jacket in the small break I had. I was sweating buckets and drink tons of water in that time. When we went back out I was fine, until Save Rock and Roll. I started to feel light headed so I sat on Andy's platform. I don't sing for this song so it worked fine. I started to feel fine so I got up and walked around stage, walking circles around Pete and dancing with Joe. It was around the three minute mark that I started to feel light headed again, so I went back to my place and stood there playing, but then the world started to spin and I felt sick. I started to sway and stumble, I heard screams and sour chords before the world went black.
