Chapter 1 - The Series Begins

7:00 a.m. My alarm went off. I woke up and I yawned.  I stretched and I got out of bed. I went downstairs to the kitchen and then to the living room. I saw my mom cooking breakfast and my brother sitting at the table eating his breakfast. "Good morning mom. *yawns* " I greeted as I yawned. "Morning sunshine. How was your nap time? Did you get any rest?"Adena asked after she greeted. "It was okay. I got enough shuteye for now and I feel like I want to sleep more but then I have school however which is oof." I answered. "You have to go to school to  learn, how are you gonna get a job if you don't have the education? You're here to learn, not just slack off." Adena replied. "Yeah, yeah, whatever. I know." I said sarcastically as if I felt annoyed. My mom served me bacon, hash browns and sausage for breakfast at the table. I went to the coffee machine to make a hot chocolate before I placed my mug under the machine so it could dispense. I turned it on and it started making it for me. My brother was eating eggs, and ham for breakfast. After a few minutes, my hot cocoa was done. I took it to the table on where my breakfast was and I took a seat. I grabbed my fork and I grabbed a bite of my hash browns. Then I took another bite of my bacon and sausage. "Thanks mom." I said as I finished my bite. "You're welcome Branden." Adena replied as she started to clean the dishes. "I'm off to school. Bye!" I said as I ran off to the garage. When I got to the garage, I saw my blue Pontiac Solstice GXP. I grabbed the key from the top of the laundry dryer, got in the car and inserted the key in the ignition. I opened the garage door and I drove off to my school. Port Crescent University. 4th Period. "Dismissed." The teacher said as he heard the bell rang. "So Branden, how is the car handling? Can you still drive it?" Jordan asked. "The car is okay but the speed is decreasing on the uphill parts and I can't step it any further which is pathetic but I'll still get the hang of it. After all, it's still a great car for my use." I answered. When me and Jordan were walking, a girl was looking at me while I was talking to him and it seems like she has an interest in me. 5th Period. "Good afternoon Mr.Takahashi." I greeted. "Good afternoon Mr.Branden. How are you doing today?" Keisuke asked after he greeted. "I am doing great, what about you?" I answered before I asked. "I'm doing good." Keisuke answered. I sat at my desk next to Jordan and we usually sit next to each other during class. "Good afternoon class, here are some important news for you guys to listen. I will not be here tomorrow because I have an appointment, you guys will have a substitute teacher." Keisuke announced. "What's gonna be the sub's name?" I asked. "Your substitute teacher will be Mr.Fujiwara." Keisuke answered. "Takumi Fujiwara? This'll be interesting." I said in my mind. After school. "Okay Ellie, try your best to get that boy. He's mine and no one will steal him." Ellie said in her mind as she took a deep breath and she walked up to me when I was looking at my car. "Excuse me sir." Ellie called. "Yes?" I asked when I responded. "Aren't you one of the drivers of The Drifting Hazards?" Ellie asked. "Umm. Yes." I answered. "Can I have your autograph?" Ellie asked. "Uh sure..?" I answered with a weird look when she gave me her binder and I took out my pen and I signed it on my name on her binder. "Great see ya!" Ellie said as she ran off somewhere. "Hold up! What a weird chick, she's got issues." I said in my mind. Gold Coast Mountains. 5:37 p.m. I was on the road to home which is Palm Harbor. When I was driving, I noticed a sound behind me which is catching up. I looked at my rear view mirror and it was an Audi RS-4. "Hm, an RS-4 huh? Well I'm not gonna let you pass. So try me!" I exclaimed in my mind as I shifted down from 3rd to 2nd and I floored it to increase my speed. During this race, I kept the RS-4 in my rear view mirror and behind me without letting that car pass me. When I approached the final corner, I braked into the corner and performed a braking drift at 75 mph and I realized that I won an unofficial race. I drove home and I opened the garage door. I parked my car in the garage. I closed the door of my car and I turned off the ignition and I took out the key and placed it on top of the laundry dryer. I went inside the house and I went to my room to take a nap. 3:00 a.m. The alarm clock went off on me and I yawned and got out of bed. I got in the car. "Hey Branden, here is a reminder that I want you to do. I provided you with a water cup. Try not to spill it or else it will break the tofu. Got it?" Adena asked as she handed me a cup of water and I placed it on the aftermarket cup holder. "I know. Thanks for the cup." I answered as I took off and drove to Gold Coast Mountains again on the uphill. I was doing a tofu delivery with a paper water cup without spilling. When I entered the corner, I braked and shifted down from 4th to 3rd to 2nd gear. When I turned the corner, half of the water's surface tension was moving on the left and the edge of the rim of the cup. It didn't spill, I shifted up to 3rd while driving until my deliveries were complete and the tachometer was raising up to 6,000 rpms. The tires were squealing and the story continues
