Chapter 12 - TFK Crew, and new members

The next day. 6:55 p.m. Palmont University. I took a drive with Ellie to a university she used to attend before we met. "So Ellie, this is where you attended for college?" I asked. "Yeah, I used to attend college there when I graduated from High School. And then I transferred to Port Crescent University with you and Jordan." Ellie answered. "So before we met, you attended college here for half of the year and then you got transferred to Port Crescent right?" I asked. "Yes that's right." Ellie answered. "Where were you born basically?" I asked. "I was born in Downtown Palmont and then my family and I moved out to the Port Crescent area in Tri City Bay." Ellie answered. "Where I was born usually was in Bayview, then I moved out to Port Crescent, and Rockport." I replied. "So that means we moved to the same area." Ellie said as she grabbed her water bottle and took a sip. "Like the story that never ends and keeps going on until it stops." I replied. Hours later. "Dude I just got word that TFK's Cody is gonna challenge us to a downhill run." Jordan called as he came in Letty's room. "Who does he want to take on?" Letty asked. "He's gonna take on you. So you're challenge him right?" Jordan asked. Outside the safehouse. Josh encountered me when I stopped at the side of the road and I opened my window. "You got it, kid. I always said you did. Now the others are just starting to believe too. Don't give up now, you're close." Josh said as he drove to me and then drove away. "Whatever." I replied. Gold Valley Run. 9:55 p.m. "That guy's driving a DB9, are you sure got this Letty?" Jordan asked in a worried way. "Don't worry Jordan. I'll win this thing, this guy's got a Exotic car and my car is a tuner car. His car though is gonna understeer so I'll have this thing in the bag." Letty answered as she got in the car. She saw the DB9 going side by side with her and he stopped his car and rolled his windows open. "You made me wait. I'm just surprised you were stupid enough to show up at all." Cody said as he opened his windows and closed it. "Huh, I might lose but you can't win." Letty replied as she opened her windows and closed it. "3, 2, 1, GO!" Jordan exclaimed as he starts the countdown and both of the cars launched at same time and blew past him. The Cilo had a better start than the DB9 because it's a mid shift and Letty is in the lead and the DB9 was in last place. "I guess I am gonna have to win by entering the corners twice as fast as I should. Hit it!" Letty exclaimed in her mind as she floored it and the car started warping through the corners at maximum potential. "Woah. That car is damn fast! I can't keep up, I'm gonna lose her!" Cody exclaimed in his mind as he entered the corner but couldn't keep up with the Cilo and then the race was over. 3 Hours later. 12:51 a.m. "Hello, this is Lee speaking." Adena called. "Hey you're that Adena chick that won the race against Karina on the Copper Ridge pass?" Michael asked. "Yes, is there a reason you're calling me for?" Adena answered after she asked. "Yeah, Cordelia gave me your number and I'd figured you could use another teammate if you don't mind." Michael suggested. "I don't mind. So we can meet up at Footy's Diner." Adena replied. "I'll see you there." Michael said as he hung up the phone and Lee drove to Footy's Diner. Footy's Diner. "So it's nice to see you show up. That car of yours is fast but heavy." Michael said as he looked at the car. "Yeah I get that a lot." Adena replied. "Your son, Branden. There was this serious night he took off and I don't think you were there. I was at the finish line to check out how things went. Everyone was talking about your son and they knew he was gonna win. Then the 5-0 were everywhere. The guy in the white sedan, he backs off and let's him run free. However, he's got a badge that shows his identity." Michael explained. "No wonder why he told me we had to leave. But I am afraid they left him into a trap maybe." Adena replied. "I can help you guys out. I'm one of the best drivers in this area." Michael suggested. "Thank you Michael. I will introduce you to our members and you can be Branden's mechanic if you don't mind." Adena answered. Downtown. "Hello?" Ellie called. "Hey Ellie, I am requesting to be in your crew. I've had it with Gavin. He'd literally be nothing if it wasn't for me. I want someone like you that is fast and amazing. Meet me at the plaza." Yadinar called. Plaza. "I have a secret that you'd like to know. I was there that night your boyfriend left." Yadinar said. "You mean Branden?" Ellie asked. "Yeah. So I was up at the fire escape. You could see the view point too." Yadinar explained. "Charlie, Bravo 24. We have a couple street racers. The suspect driving a Blue Toyota Supra and they're driving off in action." The cops commanded. "Than the cops stunned every car. But the blue one is Branden's and he is the only left that didn't get hit by the stun guns. I didn't make any sense of that. Well I guess someone interfered in a huge way, and now you need a good crew member and a mechanic to pick up the pieces." Yadinar explained. "I'll take the offer. Well Branden was the one racing. He could've got stunned but then he didn't." Ellie sighed. Fortuna. "Hello there, this is Letty speaking." Letty called. "Hey Letty, that was a great race you ran Wolf! I think you can use another member for your crew. Let's have a talk about it at the university." Joseph called. Palmont University. "So what is it that you want to talk to me about?" Letty asked. "Look, I just wanna' race. That's all I've ever wanted. If you and your crew are still looking to make good on the past. I might be able to help you guys with it too. It was a big night that your crew member left." Joseph answered. "Branden? No it can't be." Letty wondered in her mind. "It got really crazy. Pretty quick. I was playing it cool and pretended nothing happened. Then I see Cordelia getting knocked down. I could have sworn that the guy that knocked her down had the same bag. I can help you guys out. I'm one of the best drivers in this city and you know it." Joseph explained. "You're in." Letty replied.
