Chapter 22 - Victory celebration and a night at Troy

A day later. 8:45 p.m. Journeyman's Bane. "Daily routine. It's the usual but it's in a fast car though." I said in my mind as I shifted down and drifted the corner in my mom's Porsche Carrera GT. 3 days later after the death match battle between Branden and Josh. Silverton. Troy. 6:45 p.m. I drove to the hotel parking lot with Ellie. We parked the Supra next to the SL65 and the Z33 on the first row. The Gallardo was next to the FC3S, Ford GT and Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T. We got out of the car. I opened the trunk, took out our luggages and closed it. Then I grabbed the key, locked it and handed it to Ellie. "Thank you champ." Ellie said. "You're welcome my princess." I replied as we walked to the elevator and closed it. It took us up to the 1st floor which is the lobby. We went out of the elevator and walked to the help desk. "Hello, we are looking for the Ballroom. Can you give us directions please?" I asked. "Sure. The Ballroom is gonna be next to Gordon Ramsey Pub & Grill." The guy answered. "Thank you sir." I replied as Ellie and I walked to the elevator again with our luggages. It was open, when we went in. It closed and I pushed the 6th floor button. It took us up to the 6th floor. We walked out of the elevator and found our room. "There's our room." I said as I saw our room number which was 659. I took out the card key from my pocket and swiped it to open the door and I opened it and we went inside. We took out our luggages and placed it on the floor. "This is a nice queen size room." I said. "The room is amazing and I can see the view from up here. I can even see the city of Palmont." Ellie replied as she opened the curtains and saw the view of the whole city. "Isn't this beautiful?" Ellie asked. "It looks peaceful from up here and it sets my soul at ease." I answered as I felt my soul feeling peace from the beautiful view of the city. "So Branden, do you want to go swimming?" Ellie asked. "We haven't went swimming for a while so yes. I would like to go with you Ellie." I answered. "Awesome! Let me go get changed." Ellie replied as she went in the bathroom to get changed into her bikini. I changed into my blue swimming suit when I took off my clothes and changed into it. I put my shirt on. After a few minutes later. Ellie was wearing a bathing robe to cover it. "I'm done. Let's go." Ellie commanded as she grabbed the card key and placed it in her pocket on the bathing robe. We walked out of the room and I closed the door and went to the elevator again. It lead us to the 1st floor and we got out of the elevator. We walked to the Apollo pool. I sat on the lounging chair. "Okay Branden, are you ready to see my new bikini? Close your eyes and guess what color it is?" Ellie said as she was about to take off her bathing robe. "Uh, is it Blue like mine?" I answered as I closed my eyes. "Nope. I'll give you a hint. It's a a color that is on grass." Ellie replied. "Green." I answered. "You got it right! It's green, now open your eyes and tell me your honest opinion about my bikini?" Ellie commanded as I opened my eyes. I gave a surprise look and I blushed. "It's different from before but it's pretty though and however it has white stripes. We have the same color of stripes but our base color is different." I replied as I looked at her. Ellie jumped into the water. "It's not that cold, it's just warm. Hop on it." Ellie said as she signaled me to come here. I got out of the chair and jumped into the pool. I started to feel cold in there. "Oh god, it's cold!" I exclaimed. "It's not that cold silly. It's just warm." Ellie replied as she giggled at me. I gave a lot of blushing which meant that I started to feel happy and at ease at the same time. "Are you guys doing okay? Need any help?" The guy asked. "Everything's okay. We don't need help and thank you for the offer." I answered as the guy walked away. Ellie and I were splashing at each other for fun. "Ellie, check this out." I said as I performed as spin splash. "Woah! I'm gonna get you Branden." Ellie replied as she splashed by hitting the water and pushing it to me. "Not yet! Hehehe." I laughed as I kept splashing at her. Minutes later. "Hey Branden, there's a hot tub if you want to warm up." Ellie said as she went to the hot tub. "I need to warm up, we can relax there and take a break." I replied as I got out of the pool and went into the hot tub. I sat next to her inside the tub. "Would you two like some cold drinks?" The guy asked. "I would like to have apple juice." Ellie answered. "What about you sir?" The waiter asked. "I'll take a Coca Cola." I answered. "I will deliver the drinks in a minute." The waiter replied as he went to a drink machine to make our requested drinks. "This hotel isn't bad at all. After all, it's a very luxurious hotel. Thank you for choosing this hotel Ellie." I said as I looked at her. "Well I couldn't think of any way we could celebrate your victory so I'd figured that if we take a vacation and spend the night together. It would definitely make things memorable and relaxing than just racing." Ellie replied. The drinks arrived. "Here you go, a Coca Cola and apple juice." The waiter said as he handed us our bottled drinks. "Thank you sir." I replied. The waiter walked away. "See what I mean? This is what I call relaxing." Ellie said as she took a sip from her apple juice. While I was still sitting, I looked up to the starry night sky to realize my dreams and my future. "What will the future and my dreams become. Will I be able to continue racing or should I quit racing. Because racing is a talent and a hobby to me, I never give up on that type of sport. Maybe I can spend time with Ellie and continue racing at the same time." I wondered in my mind as I grabbed my Cola and took a sip from it. "Ellie, what would you want to do for your dream and future?" I asked. "My dream and future. I want to keep racing like you but I am gonna participate in the professional racing world and I want to spend time with you as well as racing against the pros." Ellie answered. "My dream is just like you. We both have the same dream and want to achieve it. That's what our future would be like." I replied. " *giggles* You're a really cute handsome guy Branden." Ellie giggled. I blushed, closed my eyes for a second and cleared my throat. I looked at her with a smile. "Look at it Ellie. Isn't it peaceful with just the two of us alone?" I asked as I looked at her. "Ohh, it sure is hehe." Ellie answered as she looked at me. The lights are lighting up and I felt a heartbeat inside my body and realized the feeling of being with a girl by myself with peace and ease. "So Ellie, do you want to go out to the prom with me?" I asked. "Yes! Of course I would go out with you to the prom Branden." Ellie answered. "Let's go get changed at the room." I replied as I got out of the hot tub along with Ellie. I grabbed a towel and handed Ellie one. She wiped her body with it and I grabbed my own towel and wiped myself. We threw the towels on the "Throw towels here" basket and we walked back to the lobby. We went to the elevator and went inside. I pressed the 6th floor button. The elevator took us up to the 6th floor and it stopped. Then it was open and we walked out of it and went to our hotel room which was 659. Ellie was wearing her bathing robe while wearing the towel at the same time. She took out the keycard, swiped it to unlock the room and opened the door. "Branden I'm gonna take a shower so I can be clean for the prom." Ellie said as she went to the bathroom and closed the door. I walked to the couch, took a seat and I turned on the TV. "This is RSN. Your host, Takumi Fujiwara. It is reported that 17 year old racer Branden Lee defeated stacked deck's Josh Carlos. Japanese Sports Car against a German Exotic Car. What an epic battle! Takumi said on the news. "This is what my dream has become. I want to keep pushing forward against the car ahead of me no matter what I do. I won't fail." I said in my mind. Minutes later. "Hey Branden. What do you think of my dress?" Ellie asked as she walked out of the bathroom and showed me her dress. "It definitely looks pretty on you and you look beautiful for prom." I answered. "Aww, you're so sweet. I put on eyeliner, make up and I also put Scarlet Red lipstick. The color of my dress is red and it matches alike to my lipstick. I am also wearing high heels too. You can go shower now, by the way." Ellie replied. I replied as I went into the bathroom and the shower. Minutes later. "Okay, gotta spray some of this to smell good." I said in my mind as I grabbed the perfume and sprayed some of it to my body and then I put on my suit and tie. I walked out of the bathroom in my prom suit. "Oh ho ho, look at my handsome champion." Ellie said as she looks stunned by style. "That's my style for the prom. Now whatcha we get movin before it gets crowded." I replied as I walked to the door and held it for Ellie while she walked out of the room. The keycard was in my pocket and I walked out of the room and closed the door. She held my hand and we walked from the hallway to the elevator. I opened it and we went in. i pushed the button to the 1st floor. It closed and down to the 1st floor. After it went down to the 1st floor, it was open and we walked out of the elevator and went to Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill. I went inside and I saw a waiter standing by the stand. "Hi sir. What are you looking for?" The waiter asked. "I'm looking for a table of 4." I answered as I saw Letty waving at me. "Never mind. That's the girl right there, thanks for the help." I said as Ellie and I walked to our table. "Ellie you so pretty in that dress." Letty said as she looked at Ellie in her dress. "Thank you Ms.Disantos. This dress is what I bought for the prom." Ellie replied as she took a seat next to my mom. "And Branden, you look handsome in that suit and tie." Letty said. "Well thank you Ms.Disantos. You wouldn't mind if I sit next to you? Because I am basically sitting in front of Ellie." I asked. "I don't mind at all. Go ahead." Letty answered as I took a seat next to her. "Hey Adena. Can I ask you a question? Do you eat meat or would you be considered a vegetarian?" Letty asked. "If you ask me Letty. I do not eat meat at all and I would be considered a vegetarian because I do not like eating meat cause it's like chewy or something like. It's just the fact that I know it can harm animals or something like that which is why I only eat vegetables and fruits." Adena answered as she explained. "So whatcha gonna have?" Letty asked again. "I'm just gonna have a chopped salad. If it has meat, I don't care. I'll still take it but it's just only one time. It has vegetables though which was a smart choice. The chicken, I honestly could care less for now and I'll just have crispy Brussels Sprouts on the side, it's a very great healthy meal for me. You two know what you want?" Adena answered as she asked me and Ellie. "For the starters let's have Hellfire wings along with some crispy calamari. But Ms.Lee, you don't have to take the wings if you want. I understand you don't eat meat but it's up to you." Ellie answered. "Thank you for understanding Ellie. You're a sweet girl." Adena replied. "Aw, you're welcome. Anyway let's have that. But for my meal, I'll just have a Bacon Cheddar Burger with fries." Ellie said. "I'll just have a Ribeye Steak and truffle fries on the side. For the sauce I'll have the house sauce on it. Besides, who's idea was it to have a dinner at a restaurant like this? It seems to be a great idea if you ask me." I asked as I looked at the menu. "That was my idea, I'd figure it would be a nice place to eat at before we go to the prom." Letty answered. "Thank you Ms.Disantos." I replied. The waiter came by to our table. "Hello ladies and gentleman. What can I serve you guys for tonight?" The waiter asked while writing on the notepad. "I would like to take a Ribeye Steak and truffle fries on the side." I answered. "Okay, would you like some peppercorn, bearnaise or house sauce?" The waiter asked while writing on the notepad. "I'll just have a house sauce with it. Can I also have a Coca Cola as a drink too?" I asked. "Alright, mam what about you?" The waiter asked after he answered while writing on the notepad. "I would like to have a Cheddar Bacon burger with fries on the side. For the starters, I would like to have a Hellfire wings along with the crispy calamari and for dessert, I'll have a potted chocolate trifle. For a drink I would like to have a glass of ice water." Ellie answered. "Got it." The waiter replied as he looked at Letty. "Can I have a butter chicken curry with Yukon Gold Potatoes on the side with Sprite as a drink?" Letty asked. "Understood." The waiter answered and looked at Adena. "I'll take a chopped salad and crispy Brussels sprouts on the side. I'll just a water as well." Adena replied. "Alright, I have a ribeye steak, cheddar bacon burger with fries, butter chicken curry, chopped salad, crispy Brussels sprouts, Yukon Gold Potatoes, Hellfire Wings, crispy calamari, truffle fries, Sprite, Coca Cola, 2 waters and a potted chocolate trifle." The guy said. "Yes, you got it right." I replied. "The starters will be here 10 minutes." The guy said as he went to the kitchen. "Cool, thanks." Letty replied. 10 minutes later. "Here's your food you guys. Enjoy." The waiter said as he handed each one of us our meals. "Thank you sir." I replied. "Let's see what's there, I can spread a little pepper and a little salt to give it a little punch of flavor." I said as I grabbed a container of salt and pepper as I sprinkled it onto my ribeye steak for a little punch of flavor. I grabbed my fork and knife and cut it into a small piece. I used the fork, poked it and took a bite of the small piece. "Mm, this is great. With the other flavors gives it a kick but the pepper and salt is amazing. I like the way how it tastes, just like any other steak I tried when I was back to going to steakhouses with my mom. But this is one is better but it's different. I still like the taste though." I said as I took a bite of my steak. Ellie grabbed the burger and took a bite of it. "So what do you think of the burger Ellie?" Letty asked. "Well the burger is not bad. But you can feel the melted cheese on top of the patty and you can feel the bacon taste too along with the lettuce, tomatoes and other condiments such as the ketchup, mustard and mayo. It's really good Ms.Disantos. I'm glad you came up with that idea." Ellie answered as she took a bite of her burger. Minutes later. "Hey Branden and Ellie. You guys can go right ahead to the ballroom if we want, we'll meet up with you when you're done eating." Letty commanded. "Are you sure? You want us to wait for you?" I asked. "No it's okay, just go right ahead and we'll be there. We'll be fine." Letty answered. "Let's go Branden. Don't worry about them, they'll be fine and so is us." Ellie replied as she grabbed my hand and dragged me while we were exiting the restaurant and walking to the ballroom. "Okay Adena. We've gotta plan something to get them engaged into a dance or a romantic moment but what can we think of?" Letty asked. "Hold up, I have an idea. So while Branden and Ellie are with each other. I'll have Jordan be the DJ and when we watch them fall into a romantic moment or a dance, you signal him to put in some romantic or love songs and they will be engaged in dancing with each other. But I'll watch secretly when they're talking just so I don't get caught. That's how it's gonna turn out." Adena answered. "I'll call Jordan." Letty replied as she took out her phone and called Jordan. Race and Sports book. "Excuse me guys, I am gonna make a call." Jordan said as he walked outside as he felt his phone vibrating. "Hello?" Jordan asked. "Hey it's Letty. I got a plan I want you to do." Letty commanded. Seconds later. "You want me to be the DJ?" Jordan asked. "Are you good at it though?" Letty asked. "Of course I am. I've been a DJ since I was back in 6th grade." Jordan answered. "Are you going to the prom though? They could use a DJ like you." Letty asked. "Yeah I can go there. I'm already dressed up in my suit and tie." Jordan answered as he ran to the ballroom. "Thanks Jordan. You're the best." Letty replied as she hung up. "You're in your dress already right Letty?" Adena asked. "I am in my dress Adena and your dress is pretty too. It's green like Ellie's Cayman S." Letty answered. "Thanks, I could say the same for you. Your dress matches like your hair color and your Z." Adena replied as she got out of her chair along with Letty and they exited the restaurant and walked to the ballroom. Ballroom. "This should be where the prom is." I said as I walked to the stand. "Hello sir. We're looking to see if you have our names on the list. We've already bought the tickets and we sent it to the guy that ordered it." I said. "Branden?" Gillian wondered. "Gillian? What are you doing as a usher?" I asked. "They hired me to be one of the ushers since one of them are sick and me and Dominic had to fill in for them so we'd figure we'd be cool filling in for them." Gillian answered. "What about the others?" I asked. "They're already inside. Your names are on the list so you guys can enter now." Gillian replied. Ellie and I walked into to the ballroom and we saw people at the dance floor and at the tables. We also heard music from the speakers blasting out. "Let's have a drink shall we?" I asked as I escorted Ellie to a table and I sat with her. "Hello you two, what can I give for you to share this lovely prom night?" Michael asked. "Michael you're a waiter?" I asked. "Yeah, they wanted me to fill in for the prom so I'd figured I said to myself why not do it." Michael replied. "Can you hand us like 2 glass cups of ice water?" Ellie asked. "2 ice water's coming up." Michael answered as he walked to the brewing stand and dispensed the ice and water onto two cups and he walked back to our table and handed us our drinks. "Thanks Michael." I said. "You're welcome and enjoy your prom you two." Michael replied as he walked back. Jordan was playing music and he saw me and Ellie sitting at a table. "Okay, they're here. Now you guys go, I'll be playing the music. Ms.Lee, you give me a the signal on when I should change the song. I'm playing the current one right now." Jordan said. "Alright, we're here too. Gillian's gonna let us in because our names are already on the list." Adena commanded as she and Letty went into to the ballroom. "Go behind the stage curtains and give Jordan the signal. Go go go." Adena whispered as Letty secretly ran to the curtain entrance that leads to a lounge and secretly watches me and Ellie without being noticed. When we were at our tables. Adena walked to our table. "Hey mom. Glad you can make it in time. Did Ms.Disantos make it yet?" I asked. "Yeah she did but she went to get a drink." Adena answered. "Um okay, me and Ellie are gonna go to the dance floor right now." I replied as Ellie and I walked to the dance floor. "See ya there. Okay now, go." Adena commanded."On it." Letty replied as she saw Jordan and he saw her waving at him. "I wonder what Branden is at." Kaylyn wondered as she went into the ball room and saw me and Ellie at the dance floor. "Woah, my student is amazing." Kaylyn said in her mind. Letty gave him the signal on setting the perfect romantic song for the prom and Jordan switched the song. Background Music. Africa by Toto. "Hm, I never heard of this song before." I wondered as I was thinking of the song. "Yeah, so do I. I never heard of it too." Ellie replied. We were about to hold each other and started dancing. "Ah, Ellie." I sighed as I looked at her. "Oh, Branden." Ellie replied as she looked at me while she and I were dancing. I gave a huge blush like I was at a dance with a girl that was part of my dream. Jordan changes the song. Background music. Beautiful by Mariah Carey feat. Miguel. "Cause it's beautiful, ooh you make me feel undressable. And I can't pretend that that doesn't mean a thing to me, to me, oh yeah." Ellie sang as she and I performed the Bolero dance. I looked at her and she looked at me back after the dance poses and we looked at each other when we held each other. "Thank you Branden. Thank you so much for everything." Ellie said. "You're welcome my princess." I replied as I saw her right hand under my chin and I looked at her. Ellie moved my head towards hers till we felt our noses made contact. My lips touched Ellie's lips before they were locked in a proper kiss. Her eyes were closed as she succumbed to the kiss. My eyes were wide open for a few seconds but later they were closed. My cheeks were blushing in scarlet red while Ellie was blushing in bright red. Adena, Kaylyn, and Letty smiled as they were looking at us but we didn't see them and they were happy. Jordan looked and smiled at us while playing the music. A minute later, we pulled out of the kiss and Ellie smiled at me. "I love you Branden." Ellie said as she looked at me with a smile, blush and innocent look. "I love you too Ellie, thank you for the night." I replied as I saw her giving me a kiss on the cheek which meant thank you and I smiled at her and blushed at the same time. Hours later. Room 659. "That was the best night, wasn't it Branden?" Ellie asked as she was in her green lingerie dress and climbed on the bed. "It sure was Ellie, now to have a good night sleep. Let's the future will be like for both of us." I replied as I climbed on the bed and laid down. "Branden. Thank you for everything you've done for me. You've been the best boyfriend I ever had this entire year. Good night." Ellie said as she closed her eyes and went to sleep. "Good night Ellie." I replied as I put my left arm around her and cuddled with her. I used my right arm to turn of the lamp and it went off. I closed my eyes and went to sleep. Epilogue. Fortune Valley. I was driving the M3 GTR on the circuit trying to catch up to my rival. "Lee is fading! Fading fast!" Takumi exclaimed. The M3's right rear tire blows up and I started to lose control as I slid into a wall and the car crashed into a traffic car and I suffered a horrific wreck. I breathed heavily and heavily. "From this moment, everything will change."
