Chapter 11 - Racing against Bushido and 21st's Street's Leaders

Gold Valley Run. 2:00 a.m. "This course is not bad, but on top of that. It's a good course." Ellie said in her mind as she attacked the corners and crossed the finish line in first place. The Next Day. "We've got intel on one of the bosses that want to take us out. First is Bushido's Gavin. Ellie will race Bushido's leader. Mom who are you going up against?" I asked. "I'm gonna race against 21st Street's Karina." Adena answered. "Then Letty will take on TFK's Cody and we'll see what happens." I replied. Lookout Point. 10:30 p.m. "Line em up racers! The RX-7 in front with the RX-8 ." I commanded. Gavin's RX-7 was in front of Ellie's RX-8 and she drove it behind it. "You remember me, right? I don't think you do. If you did, then we wouldn't be sitting her right now." Gavin said as he walked up to Ellie and she ignored him. "Hey are you listening to me?" Gavin asked. "I don't think you know my face. You're going down for the insults that you did to me and my boyfriend." Ellie answered. "Heh, it's your last chance to face reality and back off!" Gavin said as he got in his FD and Ellie got in her SE3P. "Alright I'm gonna start the countdown! 3, 2, 1, GO!" Gillian shouted as she raised her arm up and waves it down. The FD was in front and the SE3P was chasing. "I'll show you what this FD can handle." Gavin said in his mind as he entered the corner with a little gap spread. "This guy's not bad. But I'll have to pass him through the curve that leads to the 7th hairpin. That's where I'll make the move and I'll have to try to perform it with a blind attack." Ellie said in her mind as she braked, shifted down from 4th to 3rd gear and the car started to drift on the 1st hairpin. She shifted back to 4th Gear and performed another braking drift. "What?! She's keeping up with me?!" Gavin exclaimed in his mind. They were almost up to the 7th hairpin turn. Before they entered the curve. Ellie shuts off her headlights to disappear and confuse her opponent. "She disappeared?! But how?!" Gavin exclaimed again in his mind as he felt a sound behind him. Ellie saw the corner, invisibly went side by side with her opponent, turned on her headlights, attacked him with a blind attack on the corner and hooked her tires on the inside of the turn. "No!" Gavin exclaimed. "Huh, game over. I won." Ellie said in her mind. "Ellie the race with her headlights off and re turned it on!" The guys chattered. "She beat that guy's butt in the face! That was awesome! Amazing Ellie!" Jordan exclaimed. Gavin u turned and approached Ellie. "No way punk." Gavin said as he burns out and Ellie coughed cause the smoke came to her. "I won. It felt really good that I had to protect my babe." Ellie said in her mind. Weeks later. I went to the garage and I saw my mom in a SL65 AMG. "Whoa. Mom, you're using this?" I asked. "Yeah, I just bought this from the dealership and one of the guys modified it. It's a little heavy but you'll get a shot at driving this thing." Adena answered. "I bought myself an FD, because it's got the best acceleration and top speed. The handling is amazing too. You can drive it too since you let me drive the SL65." I replied. Devil's Creek Pass. I was driving the SL65 on the pass. I braked into the corner, shifted down and attacked the corner. Then I noticed it was showing understeer. "This is wild! Wow, I never driven a car like this! But however, it's showing understeer. I'll have to let off the accelerator during the corner entries and getting back on it at the exits." I said in my mind as I attacked the corner and I got back on the accelerator and kept driving. Minutes later. "So, what did you think?" Adena asked. "I'd say it's a fast car. But it has a little understeer so it could help though. Still, it's one fast machine." I answered. "So you're using this against 21st Street's Karina right?" I asked. "Yeah, I know her car's a 1969 Charger R/T. At some point it's gonna start fishtailing. So I'd figure using an Exotic car would help, but it's a little heavy and it may cause understeer. so I should be able to edge her out on the straightaways." Adena answered. Hours later. Copper Ridge. 12:00 a.m. The Dodge Charger popped out of the first u turn, reversed and backed up until she was in front of the SL65. The person who got out of the car revealed to be Karina. "You should have stayed away, Blount. Whatever anyone thought of you then, there's not gonna be any doubt now." Karina said. "Tch. Please." Adena replied as she got in the car and then Karina got in the car. "Mom are you gonna be okay out there?" I asked. "Branden, don't worry about me. If I can keep up with her on the first round. I win, but if I fall behind I lose. Well if it goes into a second run I should be able to edge her out so I'll be fine. Trust me." Adena answered. "I'll start the countdown." I said as I went in front of the cars on the side of the road and I raised my arms in the air. "This is the first run! 3, 2, 1, GO!" I shouted as the Charger and SL65 launched at furious speed. "This is the first run. She should be able to hold it." I said in my mind. The Charger was drifting on the corners and SL65 is gripping the corners. "Okay, just as I expected. When the Charger drifting while I am gripping it somehow starts to get away a little because of the understeer this car has. But the only way I can keep is unless I let off the accelerator and enter the corners at a perfect speed limit with a little braking should help." Adena said in her mind as she and Karina approached a tunnel section after the first turn. "Let's see how you can handle your precious SL65 after I take you down on those corners!" Karina said in mind as she braked on the second corner and drifted. "She's fast. Ugh, understeer! I'm gonna have to brake a little early before she does. Well if I brake and let off the accelerator, it should help me keep up." Adena said in her mind as she braked and the car starts to show understeer, she lets off the accelerator on the corner moments to kill the understeer. She kept up with the Charger until the 11th corner. "Crap! She's on me! Damn, I can't shake her! No luxury exotic can keep up with a classic muscle car!" Karina said in her mind as she felt the SL65 AMG behind her and keeping up with her as they approach the finish line. "Okay a second run, guess I'll have to use my own strength for this run." Adena said in her mind as she finished the first run. "Hey I just word that Adena is starting the second run." Jordan said. Ellie and Gillian nodded. "You're dome punk." Karina said in her mind. "Here comes the second run!" I exclaimed. They started slow until the first corner. After they approached the first corner, they went full throttle at max speed. "Come on SL65, hang in there for me!" Adena exclaimed in her mind as she control the car her way and attacked the corners at a very fast speed limit with her own strength. "Damn! She's fast!" Karina exclaimed in her mind as she saw the SL65 warping at a faster speed limit. "She disappeared! Can it be a 4wd drive?!" Karina exclaimed in her mind as she witnessed the SL65 disappearing from the course and she slowed down. "The SL65 won the race!" The guy on the chatter exclaimed. "Just what I thought. I knew she could do it." I said. "Yes! Adena won! Haha, yeah!" Jordan exclaimed as she raised his hand up while Ellie raised her hand up and gave each other a high five. "It's time to move out, guys." Letty commanded and Gillian got in the van. "Hey Branden, can I take a ride with you and Ellie?" Jordan asked. "Sure I don't mind at all." I answered as I and Letty hauled on the way back to Palmont and to the Safehouse.
