I wake up with Calum next to me, his arms gently wrapped around my waist. I decided to do something nice for him and softly slip out of Calum's grip.

I walk into the kitchen and turn the stovetop on. I grab a pan and some ingredients, and start making pancakes for me and Calum.

Calum

I wake up and bed is empty, but a sweet smell soon fills my nose. Pancakes.

"Good morning." I said, walking into the kitchen to Jane dancing and mumbling along to the music she was playing. I smile at her, I loved seeing her like this. She was happy.

"Oh my god Calum!" she said, jumping as I startled her. "Don't scare me like that or I'll stop making you pancakes."

She continues to make us breakfast and I walk up behind her, snaking my arms around her waist. I hear her take a deep breath, but continue making our breakfast.

"Thank you." I whispered into her ear, I can feel her shudder in my arms.

"Anytime." she says with a smile.

"Really?" I said, removing my arms from her waist and taking a seat at the dining table.

"Sure?" Jane laughs, answering my question with a question.

"I'm taking your word on that." I say excitedly, because what that meant to me was that we'd be able to spend more time together.

I admire Jane as she makes breakfast. She was absolutely stunning, wearing an oversized tee and some pajama shorts. Her nicely tanned skin contrasted nicely against her blonde hair, which was placed in a perfect messy bun. There was a beautiful girl right in front of me, but I couldn't help but doubt that she wanted me the way I wanted her.

"It's rude to stare." Jane said, smiling at me as she placed a plate of pancakes in front of me. I laugh, pick up the fork she gave me and dug in.

Jane

"Gross Calum." I laughed. He was shoving the pancakes I made him down his throat, obviously hungry from not eating the night before.

"What can I say? I'm a hungry, hungry boy." he laughs, taking a break to chew the pile of pancakes in his mouth.

I laugh at his comment and start eating my own pancakes. Soon enough me and Calum finish our food, and are now sitting next to each other on the couch. I lean my head on his shoulder and stare at the blank TV sitting in front of us.

"Whatcha thinkin?" Calum said, leaning his head on mine.

"About how the hell I got so lucky to meet someone like you." I said, my mind not processing the words coming out of my mouth quick enough. I mentally face palm and stay quiet, waiting for Calum's response to my embarrassing comment.

"I think I'm the lucky one." Calum says, kissing the top of my head.

I blush and bury my face into his shoulder, covering the rest of my face with my hands. He said the sweetest things to me and my mind honestly didn't know how else to react besides hiding.

"Awh, you're too cute." Calum said, wrapping another arm around me and pulling me closer to him. "Let's watch a movie."

"Okay." I said, unburying my face from Calum's shoulder so I could rest on it like I was before.  He placed his hand on my knee from underneath the blanket and started rubbing soft shapes onto my skin. He rested his head back onto mine and found a movie for us to watch.
