The boys had all gone home after making sure I would be okay, I reassured them and told them I'd be staying with Calum tonight, so if anything else happened after they left he'd call.

Me and Calum were sitting on the couch and my mind was racing. What the hell happened? I know my attacks could be severe but never once had I blacked out or gone unconscious. Just the thought of it scared the shit out of me.

"Hey." Calum said softly.

"Hey." I said, taking Calum's hand in mine.

"Are you alright?" he asked kindly. "You looked a little zoned out."

"Uh, yeah. Lost in my thoughts I guess." I lightly laughed, hopefully easing Calum's nerves a little.

"Do you want to talk about what happened?" Calum looked at me. He looked genuinely concerned.

I looked up at him and took a deep breath. "Calum, I'm scared." I said, trying to keep the tears in my eyes from pouring down my cheeks. "Actually I'm not scared, I'm terrified." I said, squeezing Calum's hand lightly. A few tears let loose and rolled down my face. Calum quickly wiped them away with his thumb then held my face so I was looking at him.

"I'm here for you. Always." he said.

"You probably think I'm crazy." I laughed lightly. Calum probably had never endured something like that, no wonder he was scared earlier. I blacked out. Hell, he didn't even know if I was going to wake up.

"Hey," he said, furrowing his eyebrows and staring into my eyes. "You're not crazy. What can I do to make you feel better?" he asked.

The tears were uncontrollable now. They were pouring out, the salty emotions stung my eyes.

"Just hold me, please." I said almost inaudibly. Calum understood and took me in his arms and held me for what seemed like hours. He held me and let me cry on his shoulder, not caring about the mess I may have been making with my eyes. He pulled back and took my cheek into his hand. He smiled at me softly and nodded.

"It's okay. It's me and you now, okay? As long as I'm here, I won't let anyone or anything hurt you. You don't deserve it." he said.

I smiled and ran my tongue along my chapped lips. I wipe my eyes and meet Calum's gaze. It was me and him now. Him and I. And I had never been more happy to have someone with me, for it to me and someone against the world.

"Me and you against the world?" I said.

"Me and you against the world." he smiled. His eyes move from my eyes to my lips and before I can say anything else, his soft plump lips are pressed to mine. The kiss was sweet, like it sealed the promise Calum and I had just made to each other.

We break and look at each other. I don't think I'd ever know how the hell I got so lucky to meet someone like Calum. His eyes were so luring, they took control of me every time they met mine. Calum was addicting, and I loved it.

"Let's go to bed." Calum said, helping me up from the couch. We walk back to his room and slip into bed. His arms are soon holding me close and we both fall into a warm sleep.

the next morning

I wake up in Calum's arms and I don't think I could ever get tired of the feeling. I turn around to see his face. His features were soft and at rest, he was calm. I lightly kiss his nose and travel to his lips, lightly peppering kisses down to his neck.
